Orange Ex-Services' Club

Joined the club tonight. Both the rear and entrance receptionist where very welcoming, helpful , and pleasant in communication and there roles. Both the bat attendant and bistro servers where again very pleasing, and Joyful. My order arrived promptly and was placed with politeness and a smile. My garlic cheese bread was as expected. My chilli garlic linguine was a good size and looked promising. There where amble large prawns easily accommodating of one person. Where I feel improvement could be made is in the flavour. Unfortunately it was very bland , pasta was cooked well but quite gluggy, there was no seasoning and no heat or bite from I assume either dried flakes or chille powder . The cheery tomatoes had no sweetness . This dish with these ingredients all can take and need strong and powerful flavours as to boost and highlight the flavour experience. Fresh chill and basil with a touch of roasted garlic would really pull this dish together and make it an explosion of flavour and texture. I do look forward to returning and trying other dishes due to the great welcome and service and the pleasing ambience and environment.

OMG,walked in put our licence in the machine & got into trouble because the woman said she had to site the licence first..what/why?? Went & sat down looked at the bistro menu,extremely expensive so went & had a look at the cafe menu..you have got to be kidding,$20 ,for a full melt..2 pieces of bread with a bit of topping,we walked out. Cannot recommend.

Really great place for a group feed. Service is outstanding. Really quick to bring it out and service staff are super friendly and helpful. You can attend as a guest member simply by showing your drivers licence. Show some respect and remove your hat before you enter! If you don't, you'll be quickly reminded. Food is reasonably priced and the bar has quick service. Highly recommended!

A very good selection of entrees and mains on the menu. The meals we ate over two different days were lovely and at a reasonable cost. All staff members we encountered were very helpful and very pleasant.

Good food, massive portions, although it did just feel like a casino (because it kind of is). Coming from WA, where gambling is banned outside of casinos, it feels a bit weird.

Nice little club in orange. We had breakfast here and it was nice here. Very quite when we went so not many people seems to visit on a weekday. Plenty of parking and toilets are nearby. Food prices and waiting times are reasonable

Great food. Great service....staff polite and do not lean over customer to pick up plates; approch from the side. Excellent training. Seating well spaced out, quiet music in background. Ode of Remembrance tribute at 6pm in the RSL tradition. Didcounts to members for food and drinks. Seats near window allow watching as life goes by. Raffles galore, badge draw. Clean facilties.
