As the rest of the reviews indicate, do not shop here. I will be shouting it from the rooftops and telling everyone I know so they avoid the shocking service I’ve experienced. I spent $600 and I’ve never felt like such an inconvenience to a business before. Everything was hard, they can’t quote you a repair timeline because "they are busy and will get to it when they get to it" then they tried to hand me the bracelet in a small ziplock sandwich bag at the pacific fair store? I’d suggest MH take into consideration that you are selling sentimental product and the service model should reflect a bit of care factor.

I purchased a beautiful gold bracelet for my partner in Nov 21 from Michael Hill Eastgardens. Approx 2 Weeks ago, there was a fault in manufacture, where a Solder broke near the clasp fitting (see pics) - i returned to the store and after looking at the break in the solder, the sales staff all agreed that it was a manufacturing/workmanship fault, but REFUSED to fix it without payment of another $70 because apparently, after the 12mth period, they don't/won't accept responsibility for their Jewlers poor workmanship?? I'd suggest anyone looking/purchasing your jewelry from someone that accepts responsibility for their workmanship. Because of this, I will be asking another Jewler to make good the repairs - as I certainly don't trust Michal Hill Jewler to do the job correctly. Follow-up The manager of the store contacted me a few days later and arranged to have the bracket repaired free of charge..

Very bad service. I bought a chain from them a few years ago and it broke, I brought it in for repair and since the warranty was over I paid $85 for the repair. I asked if I received a warranty after the repair and was told yes. After 3 and a half months the chain broke again in the same place and when I went to the store to ask for it to be repaired I was told that the warranty is only for 3 months and that I had to pay $85 again to repair it. I asked them to do it for me because only two more weeks had passed since the warranty period. The repair of the chain was not good, the service in the store was very bad. I will not buy from them again.

Disappointed with the service at Michael Hill. My partner ordered a new chain for a pendant, and when we went to collect it, we asked if the staff could place the pendant on the chain. Instead of assisting, we were told to do it ourselves at home with our own tools. When I asked if they could do it in-store, the staff member, Arina, suggested canceling the order and trying somewhere else. Her attitude came across as dismissive and rude. Not great service at all, and we won’t be returning.

If you want an easy and helpful experience when making a decision for something pretty valuable, then look no further. I showed up, luckily knowing what I wanted and they took care of the rest, even in the last couple of minutes of the day when they were supposed to be closing. They were extremely patient with me, especially Vas. He presented himself in a respectable and caring manner and assisted in confirming a very important purchase with me! Explained everything thoroughly even though I took quite a bit to confirm the choice I was making. Honest and straight to the point. His coworkers are just as helpful in the process, even more when I had to go back to resize the ring today. Great job to all the staff at Michael Hill East Gardens!. Thank you for your time!

The salesperson at the Eastgardens store (Abdul) who served me on Sunday 9th March 25 really went out of his way to show me different options and explain the benefits of each choice. Pablo was patient with my indecisiveness and really came across as someone who cares about their job and his customers. He made me feel like I was a valued customer. I will be back and I will seek out Pablo to assist with my complex decision making 🤣

My partner brought my engagement ring in for its 6 monthly inspection. Whilst there he seen another ring to surprise me with and purchased that also. This ring came in size M, was told to come back to get it size to the L1/2 that I am and that she could see judging by the engagement ring. Came back 4 days later and was told they wouldn’t resize it and that he was "informed of this". He told them that they said they said to come back to resize it or otherwise he would have got it in my actual size. This had been the same sales assistant we have went into for many visits and purchased our wedding rings off her, as well as my wedding necklace. She had stated the only thing they can do is the 6 monthly inspection and to recommend going to Lovisa to get a plastic bit to put under the ring to make it fit. Would not give this place anymore custom
