Mayfield Vineyard

Visited the cellar door at Mayfield today...had a wine tasting for 2 ...Lisa served us our wines and was awesome at explaining all the different wines!! I enjoyed all the wines we tasted...especially the Riesling!!This is a lovely place to visit ...you can walk around and see the animals...very scenic place and also quite a few cottages to stay at. Highly recommend on your next visit to Orange!! Thankyou Lisa!!

The garden flat accomodation was extremely disappointing. When opening the front door first thing you see is filthy mud stained carpet. Then when inside the Venetian blinds and windows were filthy , laden with thick dust . The lounge should be tossed it was so uncomfortable we couldn’t sit on it . It was also very stained. What they call the kitchen is disgraceful and material covering cupboards was also stained . The bathrooms are old and just usable. We ran out of drinking water on our last night!! I would not recommend anyone to stay here . It is really not fit for humans . The price is over the top for what you get. I would give it 0 stars. There was no complimentary bottle of wine!!

Advertised kids activities for Easter, and open for cellar door walkins tastings and cheese platters. Signs said open so came in, no-one around in cellar door or deck area. We pre booked a cheese platter at 1pm but we could NOT find anyone to serve us for about 20 mins. There was a basic setup of a chalkboard & egg painting which had already been used, so no room for our little one to start some art. Once we saw how pathetic it was we didn’t bother staying and left. Wine purchased NIL. No stars.

We recently hosted our wedding at Mayfield Vineyard, and even though it rained all weekend, the experience was absolutely wonderful! The venue is stunning, rain or shine, with a cosy and elegant charm that made our celebration feel intimate and special. The staff were exceptional—so lovely, prompt, and attentive throughout the entire weekend. They went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, from setting up to accommodating our guests. Even though we couldn’t make full use of the outdoor spaces due to the weather, the indoor areas were beautifully set up and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A huge thank you to the team at Mayfield Vineyard for making our wedding unforgettable despite the rain. Highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a gorgeous and stress-free event! Amazing estate for your wedding! We had our micro-wedding (30 people) at Mayfield over the Aus Day long weekend and it was the best weekend getaway we’ve ever had. We came away with some great memories and our guests are delighted at the on-site accommodation, the venue, the wines (especially the Riesling) and the vibes in general.

Sipping a glass of wine while overlooking the little lake and the stunning vineyards climbing the hills is pure magic. Mitch’s friendly and attentive service made the experience truly special. The peaceful atmosphere, gorgeous views, and the kangaroos, birds and goose roaming around make this place a gem. The wines are amazing—both the Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs were standouts, but the Sauvignon Blanc was also one of my favorites. Definitely worth trying! Mitch shared that many couples choose to marry here, and I can see why—it’s the perfect blend of romance and nature. Maybe one day, it’ll be my turn too. Thank you, Mitch & Mayfield, for an unforgettable day. I can’t wait to come back!

Mayfield Vineyard is spectacular. We had our wedding here early April this year and couldn’t be happier. All of the accomodation is beautiful, with gorgeous furnishings and special touches. The team are super easy to work with and the place offers an amazing country experience. Superb wines and excellent cellar door experiences. A credit to the Orange Wine Region - highly recommend!
