Molly Malone's Irish Pub

Visited 28/01, 8 PM approx. Clean area and cozy environment. Prices for mains are steep for me but the burger and beer deal was a great deal. Sam the bartender ran a social pool tournament which my friend and I enjoyed as well. I would like to see more Irish pub food on the menu such as Irish stew, shepherd's pie, boxty or soda bread.

We had our daughter’s 40th birthday upstairs at Molly Malones in Townsville and we couldn’t have been happier. The food was amazing. We had a variety of platters which were all delicious.Its definitely the best finger food we’ve ever come across We received so many compliments from all our guests. The service was fantastic. Natalie the awesome function manager and the bar staff were so pleasant and helpful with every detail. The function room upstairs was fabulous so much space and all air conditioned and you could go out on the balcony for some fresh air. We would most definitely recommend Molly Malones for anyone wanting to hold a party or event.

I recently celebrated my 40th birthday in the upstairs function room at Molly’s…and I couldn’t be happier. The event manager, Natalie, was incredibly helpful and responsive in the lead up to and on the day of the event. She accommodated every request I had. On the night of the party, I had multiple people comment on how delicious the food was, how well the aircon worked (a must for a NQ party in summer!), and how great the service was! I couldn’t be happier with my choice of venue! Thank you Natalie, Colin and the staff at Molly’s for making it a memorable night! Highly recommend for any function!

Not a bad pub but the "crumbed steak" is literally the worst pub meal we've ever had. Inedible. No salad, just a massive thin piece of something coated in a very processed, deep-fried crumb with a tasteless "gravy" resembling plastic on top. Really poor excuse for food. Neither of us could eat it. It even smelled bad! 🤢 The chips were ok. Nice staff

Great place to drink Guinness.....and others if you choose! A very warm welcome and Jacob knows how to pour the perfect pint! I gave hime 4 goes just to make sure. Very good customer service, allowing my wife taste wine before committing to buying. Complimentary popcorn brought with asking. We will definitely be back!
