The Family Jewels

A few years ago I had the pleasure of dealing with this company. I had an "Prosthetic Eye Ring" designed and made in America but when I received it, the ring was the wrong size, it needed to be enlarged. I approached a couple of local jewellers around Sydney but they said it was "too hard" and they didn't feel confident to do it, as they said it might crack the glass eye.. The Family Jewels not only said they would do it but the service was nothing short of exemplary. I have NO hesitation in recommending this company to anybody.

Great little shop full of unique pieces. Great selection of women's baubbles and bangles many of which are originally sourced. They offer a wide selection of jewelry including necklaces, chains, bracelets, earrings, etc. In both silver and gold. Friendly and welcoming staff that's very knowledgeable about the merchandise. Located in the Paddington district. This shop is accessible by bus, car or walking. The neighborhood is filled with many small boutiques that are ideal for gift shopping. Gift wrapping is available. This place is ideal for finding the right right gift that's special and one of a kind. Check it out.

This jewellery boutique has a stunning range of unique and beautiful pieces in all price ranges and from the fun and funky to the height of fashion elegance. I first bought a pair of earrings some years ago and lost one but happily all these years later they still have them in stock so I’ll have a spare and a pair! I couldn’t resist some other pieces which I eagerly await and am sure I’ll be back again!

Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience at The Family Jewels. I was gifted a ring that I had to get resized which I was told would take 2-3 weeks and I'd get a call for it. However, I had to make a call after 3 weeks, and I was only then told that the ring had been lost in the post. I was told that they'd keep me updated early the week after regarding where it was. Despite saying this I then had to call a week later and ask again what the updates were on the ring which they said had been lost. I understand this was not their fault and a fault of AUSPOST, however the lack of communication and transparency to find out the details about my ring was very disappointing.

I came to the Family Jewels store to fix a very loved and sentimental necklace today. Kate the owner was incredibly lovely and warm, she restored my necklace on the spot because she saw how sad it made me that it brokr and brought back a big smile to my day. While there I saw the most beautiful and unique jewels I've ever seen and this has definitely become my favourite place. Thank you so much Kate and I can't wait to return soon

Great store with an incredible selection. Sarah, who manages the store, is a gemologist who knows her stuff. She was very helpful and friendly.
