If you’re looking for quality gold jewelry to last- go elsewhere. I have owned 2 separate pieces of S&S- a necklace and a bracelet and they have both broken in record times. I have had many friends who have expressed the same frustration. I have never had a pure gold clasp just spontaneously break like the necklace did. Truly appalling quality for what is quite expensive jewelry considering it’s so fine and so little gold is actually used. I have jewelry that is decades old and others that are much cheaper but still real solid gold that has withstood much more wear without failing. I wear solid gold always and I actually have no other broken pieces of jewelry other than my 2 pieces of Sarah & Sebastian ones and I think this speaks to the very poor quality and poor liability they chose to take for it. Looking for pieces that last- with the same budget you can get much better quality elsewhere. I know have 2 pieces that they have said they cannot repair. Very disappointing.

I had an awesome experience with Melanie - Thank you so much for making my visit memorable and chill- I got a Lobe and Helix piercing.  I was a little scared at first (despite already having 3 piercings) but was soon at ease once Melanie started the process and talked me through it.  Melanie was very gentle and patient,  professional, and personable. The jewelry pieces are stunning, and the piercing room is clean and calming. I took a friend for support, the atmosphere was professional but also fun. Happy to recommend.

I'm a die-hard Sarah & Sebastian girl and this store and team are my absolute favorite. Thank you to Ben and Mia for being the best, they were truly so kind and helpful during our visit to the Paddington store location. Makes me love the brand even more, thank you so much!

POOR QUALITY - AVOID!! I spent $400 on a tiny cartilage earring from Sarah & Sebastian. I had it put in by one of their team members. I was super careful not to touch it. Within a month, it had fallen out. Panicked, I turned my house upside down and after hours of searching, I found both sides of the earring. After that experience, I went back every 2 weeks to have their team tighten the earring for me to prevent this from happening again. BETWEEN APPOINTMENTS - yes, within less than 2 weeks after it had been professionally tightened by their staff, the earring had fallen out again. This time I wasn't so lucky. The piece was gone and I haven't been able to find it. Prior to my S&S piece, I had a Mejuri cartilage earring in the same piercing for months without any issue. Sadly, as beautiful as it was, my S&S earring fell out twice and was long gone within 2 months of purchasing it. For $400, the quality of the fastening is simply not good enough. I feel like I just flushed money down the drain. The S&S team was sympathetic but ultimately not willing to resolve the issue. I'll be avoiding S&S from now on. Back to Mejuri!!

The lovely Mia was super helpful with exchanging a necklace I had received as a Christmas gift for a different size today. She made the process so easy and quick by placing the correct size necklace on hold until I could pop in to the shop later today to exchange it. It’s very refreshing to come across helpful and friendly retail staff so, thank you Mia!

If you’re looking for timeless, high-quality jewellery, unfortunately S&S is not the place for you. My almost $500 necklace has broken twice in under 12 months, with a $160 repair fee which I find honestly unacceptable for a brand that claims to provide quality pieces. The blasé responses from the staff with little sympathy that I have received when bringing in my necklace for repair is pretty shameful too. Really disappointing experience overall.

I invested significantly in their curated ear service, only to have aftercare and support abruptly cut off. Despite my attempts to resolve the situation, I was left feeling marginalized and unvalued. I expected consistent, fair service, but instead, I’ve had to escalate to Fair Trading just to reach a resolution. I expected far more from a brand of this reputation, and I hope they reflect on how they treat all customers going forward.
