I had the best experience at Lilydale General Café! The food and drinks were great, and everything came out fresh and full of flavour. The kids’ waffle was especially delicious — my kids absolutely loved it and finished every bite. The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff were friendly, and it was such an easy place to enjoy a family meal. We’ll definitely be coming back!
such a good place to have a light brunch, the atmosphere is beautiful and I love the interior. I also love how they decorated the restaurant to each Holiday like Christmas, Halloween etc. very kid friendly too which most restaurants aren’t nowadays. Love it here!!! 10/10

Spacious and lively cafe. Wide variety of brekky options and great coffee. Indoor and outdoor seating areas. Wheelchair accessible. Toilets are also available. I tried the scrambled eggs on toast and it was a bit oily and tasted meh. Would be great if guest wifi was available for people like me who loitered until their workshop finished.
Bought a ham & cheese toasty, dear lord, it was absolutely terrible, hard to believe they charge money for what they give, so embarrassing, it was disgusting.
Nice little place on Beresford Rd, Lilydale. Good food ,great friendly staff. Nice vibe. Can enjoy your meal inside or outside. Pets are welcome in the outdoor dining area. The food is of high quality. A larger meal menu would make this Cafe even better. If you're in the area stop in for a coffee and/ or a meal.
