Imm Oon Thai Restaurant & Bar

The place was nice and big, unfortunately we didn’t have very good experience. The staff who seated us looked stressed. Then once we were seated, they never came back to take our order. Other than there werent many staff serving, they were also hard to get attention of. I feel like we lost like 15 minutes at least just waiting for them to take our order. We tried pad see ew, fried chicken, green curry, and fried tofu salad. Pad see ew and green curry were nice. Fried chicken however was rather bland and sauce wasnt great. The fried tofu salad was a big disappointment. Fried tofu itself was nice, but salad has weird dressing that weren’t enjoyable at all. We struggled to eat it even though we usually love our salad, and it’s a bit shocking for us that an Asian restaurant doesnt make their salad nice. Unfortunately we will not come back, there are many better Thai restaurants.

Best authentic Thai food outside of Thailand in my opinion. Excellent fresh produce and also an outdoor covered dining area. Its great. You be the judge if you want an authentic mix of Thai food. We chose the banquet which the Chef provided at his discretion. A great choice for 2 or more people. A+

Truly delicious meal! Atmosphere in restaurant is great with outdoor option too. Staff were very friendly & efficient.

One of the 2 best Thai restaurants in the area and we regularly go (10-15 min away), even though we have another place literally 300m from our door. Great food, great flavours and always consistent. Highly recommend. Their dishes are all nice, with a few that you won't find are more usual Thai restaurants/takeaways.

Went to have dinner on the 10/2/26 to say I was very disappointed with what I was served. I ordered beef stir fry with prawns the beef was cut into big meat dices it was tasteless and stewed. Then I ordered spring rolls they were over cooked and ordered prawn and pork balls. Thinking it will have nice chunks and it was all mashed like I’ve never seen before again tasteless. Ordered drinks only one come out not the two we ordered. My wife ordered the fish dish again over cooked and tasteless. Clearly my dish was left over meat from another night it was stewed meat tasteless. Me and my wife was both sick from last night we took left overs home there gone straight in the bin. Last Time I came in food was great must be a change of ownership the meat in my stir fry was terrible should be fine cut strips it was stewed. Won’t be coming back rating 1 is what u deserve. Fix the stir fry up normally a great dish it was the worst I’ve ever tasted. Very disappointed it’s Wednesday morning and I’m still sick from last night. Terrible experience.

I ordered for takeaway, food was quick to arrive. When I got home I got a call from Leon asking if they missed anything in my order. They forgot the green curry so I went back and they gave me extra appetisers which was appreciated. Servings are very generous and the food is delicious. Staff are friendly. I’m glad we tried this restaurant and we will be back.
