Powerhouse Hotel Tamworth by Rydges

My second time here when visiting for work and what an amazing place, each time the service has been perfect, nothing is too difficult and all the staff are polite and happy. The cocktails are great, the room comfortable with everything you need, next time I have to eat at the restaurant it looked yummy. Thanks again for a perfect stay

Stayed here a few times many years ago so was looking forward to our stay. Checked in early which was great. Only difference to many other Rydges properties on check in was I wasn't acknowledged as a black member and given my welcome drinks. I later came back to reception for my welcome drinks. Room was a good size, bathroom sink is in a separate area than the toilet and shower. If your a more cuddlier size the shower is long not wide. Great water pressure though, the best in all the hotels I've stayed in. King bed and pillows are A+. The room 130 that we had had a nice courtyard outback. Nice surprise. Wifi is good, no fox sports on the TV. How does a 2 star motel have Foxtel yet a 4 star hotel doesn't? Anyway all in all a good room. Staff was great and will return again. Free parking but if it's busy good luck finding carpark near your room.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We were just passing through for one day on our road trip, and staying at the Powerhouse Hotel Tamworth turned out to be an excellent choice. The rooms were great, clean, comfortable, and well set up, and the water pressure was insanely good, easily some of the best I’ve experienced at a hotel. What really stood out was the service. At around 3am we had accidentally left our car trunk open, and an incredibly attentive staff member noticed it. They went above and beyond by using our license plate to identify us and calling to let us know so we could close it. That level of care and attention is truly remarkable. Outstanding service, excellent rooms, and thoughtful staff. Highly recommend staying here.

What a stunning property. We only had cause to stay one night unfortunately as we were passing through Tamworth but we are so glad we chose The Powerhouse Hotel. Top class and quality rooms and luxurious bedding with beautiful furnishings and finishes. The water pressure in the shower was insanely good and the tea/coffee was top class brands. Parking right outside the door and beautifully maintained grounds were a highlight as was the pool, gym and sauna. The breakfast was also top shelf and the decor throughout was stunning, and the staff truly amazing. This hotel could most definately hold its own against the best Sydney city hotels. We will only stay here when next in Tamworth.

Fantastic! It’s not the usual to get such nice accommodation in a country town. This is a sure winner compared to the motor ins and caravan parks. Well priced. Room service for dinner and a delicious buffet breakfast, what more could you want. You feel like you have the luxury of being ain a city in country NSW. Food is delicious, staff were accommodating and rooms were very clean. Would 100% recommend to stay if passing through Tamworth.

We are regulars to Tamworth and this was the first time we had stayed here. It was such a surprise, the staff were very friendly, the bar has a great whisky selection with offerings from around the world. We didn't get a chance to try the restaurant but the menu looked great. We had a ground floor room and was so nice to be able to reverse the car up to the car park at the front door and unload our luggage. Room was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely return.
