Transcontinental Hotel Weddings

Our wedding and reception were nothing short of magical. The team at the Transcontinental, lead by Ash, were professional, attentive and caring. We had to worry about nothing, there nothing that was too hard and everything was accommodated. Having the ceremony, photos and reception in the one place was great and led to us having a relaxed experience and enjoying time with our guests. We simply would not have changed anything. Our guests were so impressed with the venue, the staff and the food. Many commented on the food not only on it being enjoyable but the quantity too. Everyone had a favourite canapé or meal. When we were venue shopping, it was Ash’s can do attitude and happy nature that led us to choose the Transcontinental. If we had to do it again, it would be here 10/10. Thank you Ash and team for making our day amazing.

We had our wedding reception here and it was the most perfect fairytale! Ash and her crew are absolutely incredible at what they do and our day was perfect, not one hick up and we have 90 guests. The food was delicious and all our guests kept complimenting how lovely all the staff were and how good the food was. Every staff member was a smiling face. Ash is also an absolute legend and organised my wedding in 3months! She was so helpful in all the design and layout and the whole planning process was so easy! She was incredibly responsive so all our needs and I felt there was so silly question I could ask. I couldn’t recommend this beautiful venue enough!

Love love LOVED our wedding at The Trans. From the first meeting, we felt completely comfortable with Ash and her team. All capable, and competent every step of the way, with an amazing response time. The venue was flexible to dietary needs, endless questions, and letting us use the space as our own. The day of went smoothly, with the team adjusting easily to everything and making sure everyone was fed and happy. The staff were also very communicative, checking in with my husband and I personally. It was honestly such an exceptional experience and I can't stop recommending them to everyone. Not to mention how gorgeous the venue is. Exposed brick, dark wood floors. And lots of options to compliment your decor. Incredibly reasonable and transparent pricing, we were never surprised by a quote, except when we say how affordable it was! If we could have another wedding, we'd be doing it here.

What an amazing venue! We had our reception at The Trans Hotel in May 2023 and could not have asked for a better venue. Ash, our coordinator was amazing. I had some concerns with a few things and Ash was all over it, she definitely knows how to reassure a bride!! The staff on the night were very friendly and responsive to our guests needs. Sorry this is delayed. We had both our wedding and our reception at The Trans, it was absolutely magical! I definitely recommend. Both Ash and Dave help navigate what could have been a very stressful time. there help made the night go off without a hitch. The food was delicious and very well priced, was a hit with all our guest even with the guest who had specific dietary requirements. I just loved everything about it and if i had to do it over again i would.

We had our wedding reception here in September 22 and we couldn’t have picked a better venue! From the very first interaction, we knew it was going to be a good fit. We were planning the wedding from Sydney and Ashley was so accommodating, informative and helpful from organising our virtual viewing via my MoH to coordinating all the vendors in the week leading up to the wedding. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, even before the wedding decorations went in and provided the perfect space for our reception. Hubby and I were free to dance the night away, while the team took care of the drinks, the food, and even went above and beyond to accommodate for the kids that were there. The food was absolutely amazing, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the night. Ashley and the team really came through for us, and made the whole event seamless and stress free - we honestly couldn’t have asked for more. 100/10 recommend for your wedding and/or reception!

Couldn't be happier to have our wedding at the Transcontinental Hotel. We didn't know beforehand that they do weddings, but oh my DO THEY DO WEDDINGS! The venue is beautiful and a unique space that provides different areas for different parts of your celebration, or to give guests a chance to find their own space. Their food is amazing, truly amazing. When you see the price you won't believe how good the food is! But all our guests, irrelevant of their dietary requirements, had a beautiful meal and couldn't stop raving about it. Drinks packages are very generous with high quality drinks. But the absolute highlight of the Transcontinental Hotel is their staff. Their friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure our wedding was the most perfect celebration of us. Best of all is Ashley, the event coordinator. She is one of the most exceptional coordinators we have seen. She has a laid back attitude, that disguises her amazing eye for detail. She will not let anything get by her to ensure your day is perfect! She makes the whole planning process an absolute breeze, and is super responsive, where other venues we first contacted were not. Thank you so much Ash for all that you did for us, we are so grateful. The Transcontinental Hotel is an absolute surprise for how good a venue it is, but if you are looking for a city based venue to host your wedding, you would struggle to find better than the Trans for all they offer!
