Excellent! Estella made a last minute booking for our school staff training event super easy. Estella was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was a great space with lots of natural light, two screens and tables set up so everyone could see them. The indigenous catering was fantastic and the function staff really looked after us, enabling our staff to focus on the training. Big thank you to Estella and Team.

We recently held our Beats Bingo event at Functions By The Bay, and it was nothing short of spectacular! Every single guest was blown away by the venue — it’s absolutely beautiful, with an amazing view and loads of space to move, mingle, and dance. Everything was set up perfectly when we arrived, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even with a few last-minute changes. Their communication throughout the planning process was spot-on, and they made everything feel seamless. The audio-visual equipment worked flawlessly, and the bar service was top-notch — fast, professional, and full of good vibes. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’d highly recommend Functions By The Bay for any event, and we’ll definitely be back. Huge thanks to the team for helping us create such a memorable night!

We had our first Oaks Day event here. The views are beautiful but the function manager Estella is so accommodating and helpful. Our event was a massive success due to her putting my mind at ease with every request I had. Thank you for a fabulous day. 🩷

We recently hired this venue for our soccer presentation and couldn’t be happier! The space was beautifully maintained, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Estella and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating from start to finish, making the whole process stress-free. Guests loved the atmosphere and location — perfect for any type of function. Highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to host a special occasion or event!

Estella from Functions by the Bay was fabulous. She was very accommodating and she made sure everything ran smoothly. The room was perfect, the facilities were clean and the food (sandwiches and wraps) was fresh and delicious. Overlooking the football oval makes for a beautiful view and although there was a practice football match on, it did not interfere with our function, but rather added to the atmosphere.

Wow wow wow Thank you so much to Estella and her staff. I had my sons 21st on Friday night. It was amazing and an absolutely fantastic venue clean, open and bright music system bar projector disco lights all you need for a great event. We also had wonderful staff on the night. . From the first time I contacted Estella right up until the event she was so kind friendly helpful and made the whole process easy and everything run smoothly. We had the grazing table and that was outstanding and was enough for the whole night with close too 100 guests. I highly highly recommend this place for any function it is also extremely affordable thank you Estella and your team for helping me make my sons 21st a night he will always remember. We definitely will be back for future functions 🙂

I celebrated my 40th birthday at Functions by the Bay last night, and I couldn’t have asked for a better venue.
