This is a beautiful cathedral. There are two entrances, one is via the bell tower and a corridor or through the front entrance. Interesting layout with the tower not part of the main church. The architecture is lovely. There is a mixture of original and contemporary stained glass. The carved wooden screen is lovely. A peaceful and contemplative space to spend some time. Also there is a fabulous shop inside which specialises in hand knitted items and especially beanies.
What a beautiful Cathedral. Loved the stain glass and the altar area. Wonderfully fine people were hosting a flower festival.
Beautiful architecture and lovely cathedral in Hobart which I open to the public to stop and say a prayer or just take a look. Peaceful and quiet.
The church is beautiful. I walked in to take a look, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Make me felt very welcome and happy to visit again
What an absolutely beautiful cathedral in the heart of Hobart! I popped in whilst exploring the city and didn’t regret it. Fantastic timber ceiling and incredible array of stained glass windows. Absolutely beautiful
Perfect place for a photo-op with beautiful stained glass windows and impressive Gothic-style dome. There is a nice quiet garden that you can sit down and relax. There are pamphets given out to casual visitors to explain the great history behind the church and introduce you to a full tour of the whole cathedral.
Visited in March recently. Very nice cathedral. It was opened and welcoming.
