Love and Thunder

I've been sitting on this review for a week and I still don't know what to say that can truly explain how grateful I am for Marty and Nickki. From the moment I connected with Marty I knew he was the right vibe for us. Fun, easy going, and his portfolio was astounding. Most of our communication pre-wedding was with Marty, but come wedding day when I met Nickki it was like she had been there the whole time as well. The warmth I felt from both of them during the day was so calming, I knew we were in good hands. I've had my photos/video for a week now and I think I've looked at them at least once a day, if not more!! Post-wedding, we had our sneak peak back within 1 day which was so incredibly. I also found out a few weeks later that my dad was dying and even though it was Christmas and such a busy time, Marty sent me all the photos he had of him from the wedding so I could show him, which I was so so grateful for. I am so happy with everything Marty and Nickki did and now my beautiful memories are with me to look back on whenever I wish (every day 😉). 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Marty and Nickki, what can we say. Absolutely incredible. Firstly we changed our proposed wedding date so we could have these guys as our photographers that’s how good they are!! We did our engagement shoot and our wedding photography with this spunky couple and we could have not asked for anything better. The big stand out for us was the relationship we built with these guys and how it felt like we had known them for years, we felt instantly comfortable and my husband is very camera shy! The photos are incredible, they capture the essence of us perfectly. We are so so incredibly grateful to have had them capture our day! Big love to these two!!!

Marty & Nikki, Love & Thunder - seriously, outstanding !! The initial contact I had with Love & Thunder was solely Marty, and even though we had never met in person until the wedding, it was as if we were friends already. His partner Nikki was equally amazing, friendly, funny, patient and calm. Marty & Nikki made our day feel so easy. I had no idea what to expect on such a big day, and they talked us through everything so effectively and efficiently. The photos are to die for, the video seriously even better. Everyone at our wedding said how great our photographers were, with the olds, with the littles & then with us for our portraits. If you & your partner are a bit awkward or weird posing for photos, seriously don’t sweat it, they know exactly what they are doing and what they need you to do to capture that perfect picture. We had two kids in tow for our wedding, and the patience, kindness and care they showed our kids was absolutely exceptional. Our photos and video are just exceptional I seriously haven’t seen another this good in a long long time. 🥰🫶🏼

We truly couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos and video. We’ve already watched them so many times, and each time it brings us right back to the emotions of the day. Marty & Nickki were so amazing, right from our initial meeting, to our engagement shoot through to our wedding day. They captured our day so beautifully, we are so stoked with the photos and we are obsessed with our video. Both show our day exactly how we had hoped. Everything they did was so thoughtful, the provided us with Polaroids on the night for us to look back at immediately and then before our gallery was ready, they sent a heads up email encouraging us to get our favourite drinks and snacks to sit and enjoy. Both Marty and Nickki are so kind and listened to everything we wanted, and provided advice as well. We are so lucky to have had them both as a part of our special day! We are so grateful to have all of our special memories captured for us to relive over and over. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Marty and Nickki made our day! From taking the time to come up with a plan B in case of rain to making us feel so comfortable in front of the camera (despite not loving having photos taken) these guys are the perfect people to capture your day, make you feel amazing and wonder how you ever looked that perfect when you get your photos back in record time!
