The Green House Ballarat

This is a gorgeous cafè that has a lot of character, which is partly supplied by the abundance of plants that are on display. I actually felt like I was dining in a forest. A beautiful atmosphere to dine in, for sure. The staff on shift when I visited were all very polite, attentive and super quick with the table service. Their was a noticeable depth to the flavour of my coffee, which was also smooth and creamy. I ordered the French Toast and was blown away by every ounce of it. All the flavours were balanced and discernible, the toast was thick, crunchy and had no hint of over saturation. The ice cream, fruit, toasted muesli and other toppings all added to the delightful texture of the dish. The portion size was substantial and probably enough for two people 😱🤔☺️. This is definitely one of Ballarat's hidden gems when it comes to cafes. Go check it out for yourself, toot suite.

This place is sensational. Food is amazing, the best drinks, and the staff are just lovely. Such a beautiful, calm and relaxing environment. The selection of plants and pots are elite. One of my favourite lunch/coffee spaces. A hidden gem x

Amazing staff and a gorgeous local café filled with plants and good vibes. They make the best matcha in Ballarat, using quality culinary-grade matcha and whisking it the traditional way. They have an amazing display cabinet with yummy brownies and the freshest cinnamon scrolls. Would highly recommend.

We love coming here for weekend brunches as the food and coffee is delicious, my kids claimed they have the best toasties in town! Also great to have a browse of all their plants after and usually can’t resist getting a pot plant or two home!

The coffee from here was good and they have a wide selection of plants at reasonably prices. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. There is outdoor seating at the back if you wanted to get some breakfast or brunch. I noticed the takeaway coffee cups were high quality biodegradable cups as well, nice touch. Was very happy with our visit here! I wish this place were more well known because it deserves to be!
