The bakery is praised for its delicious pastries, particularly the meat pies and veg pasties, which are substantial and flavorful. Pretty good. I had a meat pie and veg pastie. Pastie had a bit too much potato but it still hit the spot. I'll be back....
36 dollars for 4 items!?!??!! AND they’re were just not any good. Not going back there. Got a croissant and it was cold and bland, bread-like and hardly had any filling. Banana bread was dry and had no flavour. And the 2 coffee we got were very dull and the milk was burnt. Very disappointing considering we heard otherwise.
First time coming in, got a thing of chips with chicken salt and im not joking, these were the best chips I've ever tasted, the only bad thing was the floors were a bit dirty but everything and everyone was so nice, definitely coming back
Best Pasties .. nice and big.. delicious vegie filling and plenty of it and not too much pastry Highly recommend 👌
Food is well priced and delicious, it can get very busy, a little bit out dated but doesnt impact the food etc
Have not been here for a couple of years, thought we'd try it whilst in Ballarat today. The food part was ok but the service was shocking. Watching the younger staff serve others, they were smiling, friendly and welcoming however the older staff member we had today was... well... sorry to put you out as a customer supporting local business. Definitely wont be going back any time soon and no donuts at 1.30pm in the arvo was a disappointment.
Absolutely the most terrible tasting pies and pasty I have eaten. What a let down after a mate suggested we try them. Waste of my money as I threw away 4 pies and 4 donuts. The filling in the pies and pastie contains a filler. Everything but what its supposed to have in it. What an expensive lunch that found itself in their bin bedide the entry. You bet you're not the same as Bake and Grind as I was led to believe. Now this place is serious about what they sell. Keep my refund because it's not about the money, it's purely about proper pies and donuts. Lol your coffee also ended up in the bin as well.
