Gold Coast Lapidary Club

I live in northern NSW and Miami is my closest gem club. When I joined about 9 months ago, everyone was so friendly & welcoming. The facilities are great (I can only compare with Melbournes Diamond Valley Lapidary Club) and it’s so affordable. Everyone is helpful and the teachers are so wise! It’s been my favourite hobbies. They have silversmithing too. Such a community gem- I can’t imagine life without this club

For the last few months I have been attending the Gold Coast Lapidary Club as a member where I have been taught to make cabochons under the watchful eyes of their wonderful instructors and talented members. As a part of your initial training you have to complete 3 cabochons (cabs) which can be a little daunting for the newbie but each stage of the process is made easy. Call in and have a look at their displays and well equipped workshops, there are lots of skills to be learnt here like faciting gemstones and making jewelry to mention a few but be warned if you catch the 'Lapidary bug' it can be life changing.

The prices of gems and hand crafted jewellery was very reasonably priced. Great bunch of store holders witha wealth of knowledge.

Alex is a fricking legend! Went there for getting some holes in some shells and he rocks it. I got two perfect circle. So happy with the service, everyone was kind and welcoming. I just paid 20 bucks, what a bargain! Totally worth it, lots of love xx

A great place to make new friends and learn the art of Lapidary and all allied subjects such as silver work, precious metal casting, carving, etc. The club has highly experienced instructors in all areas for all classes and a fantastic range of equipment. New members are always welcome.
