Dotti Frankston

Our recent visit to your store was very disappointing due to the behaviour of the staff member who served us. During checkout, the staff member showed clear impatience and frustration when we were asked to spell our name. The eye-rolling and annoyed reactions were unprofessional and made us feel embarrassed and unwelcome. We understand retail work can be stressful, especially near closing time, but that does not justify treating customers with disrespect. Difficulty understanding an accent should be handled with patience and courtesy, not irritation. We were genuine customers making a purchase and did not deserve to be treated this way. This experience made us feel self-conscious about our accent and background, which is unacceptable. We hope this behaviour is addressed so future customers are treated with respect.

Today I had the loveliest young woman look after me in dotti. I should have asked her name but I hope she knows who she is ( she has short hair) I havnt bought new dresses since becoming very unwell and was feeling so sad trying stuff on. She was so sweet and kind and helpful and it really made the whole experience warm and happy. That little bit of kindness goes a long way. I hope u see this. Thank u for being you and no matter what u go on to do in life I have no doubt you will make a positive impact on the world. You deserve a big promotion and pay rise x

I have been to the Dotti store in Bayside a million times and I am always greeted and taken care of no matter who is working, but today was a different experience. Due to Covid-19, many stores have certain rules set in place to reduce the spread. I tried on some clothes today, and although I am not infected with the covid-19 virus I was not sure if I was meant to bring the clothes to the counter so they could be cleaned or put them back onto the rack. As I went up to the counter I asked one of the workers what to do, the only response I received was a glare and then the worker snatched the clothing out of my hands. I work in retail, and i would never snatch an item away from a customer. Not only is it bad customer service, but its just bad manners. Unfortunately you don't forget a bad experience and although this won't stop me from shopping there, it might stop others from returning to the store.

Been to dotti twice in the last 2 weeks, the 2nd time being tonight. And the same girl working has not ONCE acknowledged me. Hasn’t looked up from the desk or the ipad. Went in to buy a pair of boots I really wanted and completely lost me, will never return. She has no customer service skills whatsoever and shouldn’t be in a customer service based role.

Had a great sales girl called Brooke who went out of her way to help me with jeans . Thank u Brooke and not easy when customer is 70 lol. Am very happy with purchasing 2 pairs of jeans

WARNING! The majority of Dotti clothing is made of plastics, such as Polyester, this is not a good material, it's toxic. Don't risk your health for a cheap jacket.
