We searched online and chose the Mr and Mrs Potato Head costumes which looked great. We were in a rush, having flown in from interstate on the day of the party. Got to the party and we’re getting changed the costumes looked terrible. They were so old and torn in places. There was no padding and they looked nothing like the pictures. We should have checked them before leaving the shop. Luckily we were able to Boris some pillows and rope to pass them out. Very disappointed that we were charged $130 for terrible costumes.

I had a pretty rude and unhelpful experience here. I went in looking for a wig for a hens night and when I mentioned that I didn’t want anything too expensive, the staff member ignored me completely. She handed me one option, gave no alternatives, and went straight back behind the counter. Because I have a small head, I went to check the size of the wig. Before I could even explain, she yelled across the shop that I couldn’t open it. I apologised and said I just needed to see the size, and instead of offering any reassurance or information (like whether they allow exchanges or if the wigs are one-size), she just spoke to me like I didn’t know how to put a wig on and told me to use a hair net. There was no effort to understand my concern, no mention of any exchange options, no discussion about budget, and the attitude was unnecessary. I left without buying anything purely because of how rude and dismissive the interaction was.

Unbelievable experience today. I bought balloons for my 8-year-old, including a number balloon, and the staff gave us a bag that was clearly too small. I mentioned this, but they still tried to squeeze everything in and handed it to my child. Unsurprisingly, the balloon popped right there in the store. When I spoke to the manager, she refused to take any responsibility or offer a discount—even though it was their fault. Extremely disappointed with the lack of care and basic customer service.

Bought the day of the dead costume easy service and low price too, so much to choose from friendly staff highly recommend for the little kids party's to Halloween ect

I recently needed an urgent Halloween costume at the last minute and no where in Sydney had what I was after. I was recommended Abracadabra in Frankston - and they did not disappoint! I spoke with the manager who was an amazingly helpful, friendly and accommodating lady named Tanya! She sourced exactly what I needed and had it sent to me on the spot. I received my order the next day! I can’t thank her and her team enough for their help and fantastic customer service!

A very uncomfortable experience, the owner/two workers there were extremely rude and made my partner feel very uncomfortable. Rushing her to change outfits and making unnecessary comments when she was trying on outfits. They had a good range of costumes for hire and seemed like reasonable prices but the attitude of the staff/owner (see other negative reviews) ensured we left without spending a cent.
