Windmill Caravan Park

Cabins and shared areas are immaculately clean and tidy. Short walk to the Urangan jetty, foreshore parklands, walking tracks and convenience store, with a Woolworths shopping centre a short drive away. Only thing missing is an exhaust fan in the cabin bathroom. We'd happily stay again.

We stayed at the car park for 3 nights. We really enjoyed ilt! First of all, at the reception we were greeted pleasantly, we were helped with tourist activities in the area and the attitude was pleasant and patient. The place is maintained in the best possible way, the cleanliness and order are wonderful. There is everything you need for a good vacation. Smadar & moshe levy

Loved staying here, the place was well kept, very clean bathrooms, great pool, good location, quiet and nice people around the park. Joseph was a legend and was great to have a chat with. If we are in the area again we will return to this caravan park

We come here every year in September and love the convenience. The family love the caravan park (including the magpie my son has named Maxwell). We get left alone to go about our business and if we need anything the service is great. My son left behind his beloved toy and they delivered it to him 3hrs away, you cannot buy that kind of service. We will be forever grateful and return will next year.

A nice clean caravan park at a fair price. One of the cheaper parks in Harvey Bay, though we can't get over the charges for a 1 day holiday. A public holiday on Monday and all parks charge for 4 day's. Is it the parks or do they just like ripping off the public. Not happy with the price caravan parks want to charge with parking a van or tent on a little piece of ground/ ( dirt in some cases ). Council parks $78 a night, want a blatant rip off. Just sit back and watch the price rise.

Just spent 3 nights here. I've always stayed in caravan park cabins and found them to be really good. This one however, was not so. The shower hadn't been cleaned, only the soap tray because the glass doors were still dirty from whoever had stayed before. Walking around with no shoes on made your feet dirty! What does that suggest? Very old accommodation, not updated at all, ensuite door rotting from the bottom up, mould in the tiles around the floor edges and doors. Queen bed felt like springs were coming through. In other words, my advice is don't book one of these cabins or maybe I was just unlucky. Never staying here again though. Not value for money at all and needing a good clean out. I booked here because it had 4.5/5, but I assume that was caravan parking only.

Well, what can I say? If I have any complaints about windmill caravan park it is the fact I had to leave. By far the best wee bungalo I've ever had the pleasure to inhabit. A quiet, family friendly place that is well maintained and well serviced. A warm irish welcome mixed with warm qld weather, I will certainly be returning to this establishment as soon as I can. I'm not being funny, or am a relative to the lovely people that run this joint and trying to big them up; it was an absolute pleasure to be here, and would highly recommend anyone travelling to Hervey bay to stay here. I'll be back as soon as I can.
