The Bread Social - Tweed Heads

We discovered Bread Socia when looking for a decent coffee and they did not disappoint! Despite a long line the service was excellent and the coffee was promptly served. The pastries and baked goods were delicious! We’ve been three times this holiday and can’t rate them highly enough!

Bit of a local legend from what I hear. Coffee, OG Custard tart, and cinnamon donut we had were top shelf. So many other gorgeous looking treats - need a month of morning teas to get through everything. Can’t wait to go back.

I love being a local with the bread social down the road! The meat pies are delish and filling, but the specialty coffees are even more refreshing. Heaps of options for cakes, pastries, and toasties as well. Staff are always working hard and on top of it - especially lovely Victoria. If I could go there every Single Morning I would. Highly recommend.

Stopped by on our walk to try some goodies. There was a long queue when we arrived around 10am but the ordering service was quick so not too long of a wait. We got the seasonal quiche, pork sage & apple sausage roll, custard tart and dark chocolate cookie. Definitely worth the trip - especially the sausage roll which had flaky pastry and a lovely filling (not dry and dense like some sausage roll fillings).

Bread Social in Bay St, Tweed Heads is outstanding. Their selection of sourdough is the best around, the pork sausage rolls are incredible, and the French pastries delicious. Coffee is consistently great too. The café has a cool industrial feel, and while there can be a bit of a wait during busy times, the friendly team and top-notch food make it well worth it. It’s hugely popular for a reason — any holidaymaker in the area should put this place on their list.

This place has the best custard tarts, ever! There are also lots of other amazing looking things here, but the tart is a must try. The almond croissant is also very good. Service is friendly and quick, even if there is a line up. Highly recommend checking this place out!
