Club Tweed

Wow, what an amazing place to visit. The reception staff were superb and helped us out as they did. We became members immediately. The food was great and delivered to us in a timely manner. Plus the band that was on again were amazing. Top job club tweed.

We hadn’t been to Club Tweed for years. Within five minutes of arriving, I understood why. Nothing had changed. The attitude of staff toward customers felt demeaning. The way staff spoke to one another felt equally demeaning. Almost immediately, I found myself asking, Why am I here? There are so many alternatives. There was no reason to stay. As I walked out the door, I felt both pleased and relieved. I realised I no longer want to subject myself to environments that carry this level of negativity or diminish personal dignity. Choosing to leave was an act of self-respect.

We enjoyed a Sunday night meal. Huge place. Our meals were yummy. Great for bowls & teams getting together. Our personal dislike was the amount of pokies. Just seemed to dominate the area. If those people were in the bar/restaurant, there would have been a best social atmosphere.

Great entertainment and dance floor. Bought for from the cafe and it showed a lack of care in the preparation. Ordered a roast beef, lettuce and bearnaise sauce sandwich with drinks and dessert. It was like having mouthfuls of not very nice sauce slapped into the sandwich. I had to scrape most of it off on a napkin. Not a very appealing sight.

Beautiful decor with plenty of tables. Accommodating staff ensure elderly are taken care of. Delicious food and drinks. Will go back again before leaving Australia. Lift for wheelchairs or walkers is easily accessible.

Two of us ordered the steak special tonight. If you think you are getting a freshly cooked steak think again. It was precooked, overcooked and had about as much taste as a dirty sock. The mushroom gravy was burnt and the meal overall was awful. We eat here regularly and this is way under par compared to the usual meals. At least let people know what they're ordering rather than serving up this rubbish so they can order something else. Really disappointing when the food is usually so much better.
