Butchers Buffet Strathfield

Visited for Sunday dinner with a group of 10. There was a good range of meats available, though I felt the selection was a bit smaller compared to other Butcher’s Buffet branches. They also offered a variety of options beyond BBQ, including fried chicken, tteokbokki, pizza, Korean side dishes, and desserts, which was a nice bonus. The staff were very attentive, regularly clearing plates and changing the grill throughout our meal. The only downside was that the grill was quite small, so with four people sharing one, it took a bit longer to cook. Overall, a solid spot for group dining with great service.

Had a really great experience at Butchers Buffet Strathfield. The highlight, of course, was the wide selection of high-quality meats. Everything we tried was delicious and cooked perfectly on the grill. What really impressed me was how much more there is beyond just BBQ. They also offer a great range of hot meals like pizza and fried chicken, along with plenty of tasty side dishes, which makes it perfect even if you want a break from grilling. Everything was flavourful and well done. The experience gets even better with free dessert and ice cream at the end, which was such a nice touch and a perfect way to finish the meal. The atmosphere was lively and fun, the place was clean, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Overall, it was a very satisfying buffet experience with great variety, quality food, and excellent value. Definitely a place I’d happily come back to.

Today my boyfriend was craving Korean BBQ after a big, action-packed day, exactly the kind of meal we were looking forward to. We’ve been to Butchers Buffet in other locations before, so we came in expecting a similar experience. Unfortunately, this visit didn’t live up to that. From the moment we walked in, we felt rushed. We were quickly pushed to pay and then seated in a cramped spot, even though there were multiple other tables available. It didn’t start the experience off on the right foot. We were both very hungry, but even then, a lot of the food was off-putting. Much of it lacked freshness and flavour, and the overall quality just didn’t feel great. The meats were decent, but still not at the standard we were expecting. It also felt like everything was very rushed, less like enjoying a meal and more like just constantly putting food on the grill and eating without really enjoying it. I was especially looking forward to the crab salad, but after a few bites I found large chunks of tomato mixed through it, not something I expected in that dish, and the flavour combination just felt off. It made it hard to enjoy something I’d actually been craving. Overall, the experience felt rushed and lower in quality than we’ve had at other Butchers Buffet locations. We left full, but not satisfied, which was disappointing given how much we were looking forward to this meal.

Service was great, plenty of options for kbbq lunch and price is reasonable. Unfortunately giving just 3 stars because I felt sick after eating here. I had a birthday lunch with my friend at 12PM today. I'm feeling sick pretty much not long after so I don't know if there are possible ingredients that aren't fresh. Tbh the food was delicious, my friend and I used to work as chefs so we know how to cook well. I've been to butchers buffet at Chinatown CBD before and I was fine so hoping this is just a one off. However I probably won't come back to this establishment

came on 3 nov 2025, disapointed by the waiter. look how burnt at our first tray after waving at one male waiter several times. he was very close right at the table behind us and was cleaning up. I waved and even called him but he proceeded to ignore my calls. I had to walk around and find a female staff to change. it is your job to look after the grills!! food was nice

Great place for family dining for spexial occasions. Prices for Friday to Sunday night per person $53.99 for all you can eat. Cheaper for lunch and Dinner from Mon to Thursday dinner. Theres a variety of selected Wagyu meats, marinated chicken, beef and pork. Theres a variety of side dishes to compliment the amount of meat you consume from pizzas, salads, chicken wings and desserts.

Hands down our favourite Korean BBQ place in town! The meat quality is amazing, everything tastes so fresh and flavourful, and there’s such a great variety to choose from. The staff are friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. We keep coming back because it never disappoints. Highly recommend for anyone craving a proper Korean BBQ feast!
