The dumlings and noodles here were great and very tasty. The pork kimchi we ordered were full of ingredients inside. The beef bone soup noodles and seafood noodles were abundant. Staff here were very attentive and served very quickly. The restaurant itself was a bit packed so occasionally a line of people formed outside.
I was craving cold noodles on a hot day and we paid a visit to The Mandoo and it didn’t disappoint. There was usually a line for it but we didn’t have to wait long that day to get a table. We ordered their signature kimchi with pork dumplings and pork bun dumplings and they were all delicious. They were very flavorful and well portioned for the price given. My friend got spicy beef noodle soup and I got spicy cold noodle soup for sharing. I enjoyed every bite of it as the soup was refreshing to me. Noodles were very thin and springy to my liking and the sauce made it extra flavorful. Overall I enjoyed my dining experience here and would love to come back again to try other items on their menu.
Visited The Mandoo in Strathfield, and it was such a satisfying meal. The handmade dumplings were soft, juicy, and full of authentic Korean flavor. The soup and noodles were comforting and perfectly balanced — not too salty, just rich enough. The place has a calm, cozy atmosphere, and the staff were kind and attentive throughout. It’s one of those spots that feels like a home-cooked meal — simple, honest, and delicious. Definitely a must-try if you’re craving real Korean dumplings in Sydney.
The best mandoo so far, no debate. Everything we ordered was delicious, but the fried mandoo? Crispy outside, juicy inside… I’m still thinking about it 🥟✨
We came here for lunch and found this place via social media Instagram. We're lucky that we don't have to wait for too long. We had 5 dishes. 2 noodles, 1 bun, and 2 types of mandoo. Noodle broth was really nice. Rich in flavour. The mandoo was alright for me, nothing special. The mandoo skin is thin enough, and the filling is generous. It is a different type from Chinese dumplings where the juice is kept inside the dumpling and bursts when you bite it. Some people will like this type of mandoo and I respect that. Every individual will have different taste and preferences. Overall, mandoo was alright. Noodle is the winner for me.
The Mandoo in Strathfield has the best handmade dumplings! 🥟 Everything tasted fresh and delicious, and the soup was so comforting. The place is small but cozy, and the staff are really friendly. I love everything in here especially the Cold Noodles for summer OMG !!! Perfect!! 🧊 🥰 Definitely worth a visit!
Cramped little area with small tables. - Galbi Mandoo 1.9/5 There mandoo was fluffy on the outside. This type of mandoo was on the sweeter side. I did not enjoy it as much. - Spicy Cold Noodle Soup 피냉면 3.2/5 It was a lot of the spicy sauce - it overtook the taste of the broth. Next time I will get the regular one. They also gave such little broth I had to ask for more. Parking around the mall.
