Excellent neighbourhood cafe. Coffee’s great and their takeaway bagels are amazing
Great little neighbourhood gem. Limited but well done, the menu features bagels and toasties with all the usual brunch options. Both the coffee and chai were good and well presented. The staff were friendly and attentive without being bothersome. The atmosphere is pleasant and the background music is just that, so you can have a conversation. If you’re in the neighbourhood, give it a try.
Charming, hidden gem, The Mabel is very inconspicuous from the outside. You might drive by the little block of 7 shops in Mitcham and not notice it. But the food was all tasty and well presented, the staff were friendly, the setup is nice and some easy listening 80s songs were quietly playing in the background. We had an enjoyable lunch here today, the cafe was charming.
Lovely cafe with a friendly owner and team, great service. Our first time having a meal there, we usually get their coffee on the go and have tried their yummy carrot cake and citrus tart. This time we enjoyed the latte, matcha latte and chai latte(very nice!). Tried the Sriracha Scrambled eggs with chorizo, corn fritters with smoked salmon and Eggs Benedict. Generous portions and very delicious. We will definitely be back!
Excellent coffee. The bacon lettuce and tomato toastie was divine. The staff had a welcoming friendly smile and were very efficient. The place is spotless and the music was relaxing. Highly recommended
This is the sweetest cafe and everything is absolutely perfect. The staff are extremely welcoming and hospitable, coffee is always lovely hot and strong. The food is very honest with the freshest and good quality ingredients. This is quite a rare combination. The menu has lots of options and the selection of music too.
Unfortunately both my partner and I have bad food poisoning from here. We both had the chicken. Not nice results. Don’t normally complain, staff were lovely, service quick, but please check that chicken isn’t left out in the heat or that it’s out of date…
