La Mono Merrylands | Charcoal Chicken & Lebanese Cuisine

At La Mono Merrylands, you truly experience a taste of Lebanon. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with mouthwatering aromas, rich flavours, and a warm, relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. We ordered the whole marinated chicken with garlic and pickles, and it was incredibly tender and full of flavour. The hot chips were perfectly crispy, and the Fattoush salad was fresh, zesty, and beautifully balanced. We also enjoyed the vine leaves, which were packed with delicious Lebanese spices. Their drinks are a must-try — we sampled all the fruity mocktails and highly recommend them. The mango cocktail, avocado cocktail, lotus shake, and lemon & mint drink were all refreshing and so tasty. A fantastic experience from start to finish. Can’t wait to come back!

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Special shoutout to Nadia, who kept smiling and was super patient with us even while we struggled to decide what to order because everything looked so good! The food was absolutely delicious, and what makes this place even better is that you get the best of both worlds: El Jannah and Al Aseel, all in one spot. Perfect for when you’re craving both, and trust me, it did not disappoint! Definitely will come back 🙂

Our server Nadia made us feel welcomed from the get go, she is fantastic at her job and made the food experience (which was already superb- honestly you HAVE to try the tawook roll) even better.

A friend of mine that lives in Merrylands took me here for dinner tonight as had recently moved here myself. This by far is the best Lebanese restaurant that I’ve ever been too. I tried the BBQ shish kebab and was it fantastic. Everything on the plate was fresh. The tabouli itself was the freshest that I’ve ever tasted. It was the first time too that I had tried some shisha too. I’m definitely telling my friends about La Mono and plan to return but with them along as well.

The service is absolutely amazing, creating a truly authentic five-star dining experience. A huge shoutout to Nania for making it even more special. The beef burgers are to die for, this place get’s a 10/10 in my books.

The half-chicken meal was tasty, tender, and perfectly seasoned with reasonable pricing. The garlic dip was thick and full of flavor, too. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was warm and relaxed. Parking can sometimes be tricky, but it wasn’t an issue for me at that time. Definitely recommended!
