Absolutely incredible food! Table service was prompt and often, and the food came out so fast! We had a group of 8, and not one bad dish between us, and we tried plenty!! Definitely going back again!
They have all you can eat for less than $50! It's definitely a good value. The food was ok, some really good, and some not so good. I would recommend if you're craving a lot of Japanese food. The scallop dish had 1/4 scallop in each shell. $9 for that is not right.
very kind service from the two waitresses working the other night, Food is much higher quality than similar all you can eats in the area. You can definitely taste the quality and I appreciated being able to watch the sushi being rolled in the bar area

If you are looking for a quick overall review I would personally say it was horrid! If you are wanting to hear move read on……. Me along with my sister and my brother attended the lily dale Japanese restaurant for the first time, we normally go to Mooroolbark Japanese ( so amazing ). First up my sister ordered a coke, it came warm, in its bottle, not in a glass with ice just it’s bottle with a cheap straw shoved in the top. We then ordered a few small dishes one of the being a scallop with mushrooms inside it, the scallop was the size of a 5 cent coin and as thick a a barbies ankle. After a few more unfazeing plates it was brought to our attention that whatever you don’t eat ( that you ordered ) you will be charged for, even if, just like what we did you have one dumpling left ( anything over 100 grams ) you will be charged for the entire plates price. So if you want to come to lily dale Japanese my option is a simple don’t!
Food was of mixed quality; but lower quality to other Japanese all-you-can-eat restaurants. Food was delayed or forgotten. The service staff (all lovely) were run off their feet. Place is really loud. Nice decor there.
This is a great little hidden gem, great range of food to choose from when having all you can eat. Service is fast so they don’t leave you hanging for the food. Great quality food that is so tasty. A must to visit if you are feeling hungry
