Sia’s Takeaway

We were visiting the Gold Coast from Melbourne and were struggling to find food that was tasty, affordable, and came in big portions, until we found Sia’s Takeaway in Helensvale! We loved it so much that we ended up going back twice during our holiday. The food is absolutely delicious, with huge portions that are perfect for sharing (or for very hungry people like us!). My husband and I grew up around a lot of Pacific Islander families in South East Melbourne though we’re Filipino/Australian and we both adore Pacific Islander cuisine, and Sia’s definitely hit the mark. The service was amazing too. The guy who served us remembered us from the first visit and greeted us warmly the second time even when he was in the back food prepping, it really made us feel welcome. And can we talk about the price? $25 for 5 picks of food, and when we lifted the takeaway, we were blown away by how much food there was! Honestly, I would go back to the Gold Coast just for this takeaway. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

Really disappointed. We usually go to Sia's in Slacks Creek, but they're still closed so we took a drive out to Helensvale thinking it'd be just as good! Keke mamoe was full of onions that were chunky and not cooked through, could barely spot any meat, no flavour. Definitely need to get on par with Slacks Creek, this is disappointing! No flavour and be lucky if there was 4 pieces of meat in the chopsuey, mamoe could've been better, there was more bone and fat on it than meat itself. We took back the Keke mamoe and they offered to replace it with more, but they opened it up to make sure I was okay with it, same thing, so we just got our money back instead.

Unbelievable. Food was amazing. Raw fish dish the best I have had, pork belly well seasoned , taro was great and the Lu great taste. If you are in Helensvale drop and grab a feed.

Absolutely fantastic food and service from Danny and his crew. We traveled from Singapore and Melbourne and were blown away by the taste and generosity of the people running the business. Huge gem of a place.

Was insane the taro seafood, and the pumpkin lamb or chicken. The lady was super friendly as well. will be coming back for sure!

After a week in Brisbane/GC travelling from NZ, Sia Takeaways was the best find for a real feed for the soul. Stopped in a for a delicious Kai before the themeparks across the road. Thank you so much, everything we ordered was yum! 😍

Love the new Acai !! I hope this is here to stay. I wanted to add to my review. Last night I went to grab some Açai for my partner and I. Firstly, it was close to closing time (sorry!) and they were so accomodating, I was needing to take the bowls back home and the gentlemen in store ensured that I had a safe way to carry them (see 2nd picture), very intuitive and very thoughtful of him! Thank you for the exceptional customer service!!
