Fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant presents beautifully. The interior strikes a perfect balance between modern sophistication and classic elegance, creating an atmosphere that feels both high-end and welcoming. It’s a great spot for a special occasion or a polished night out. The staff were fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we found them to be incredibly friendly and helpful. Their attentive service really elevated the entire dining experience. The kitchen is clearly operating at a high level. Every dish we tried was on point, fresh, and delicious. You can tell there is a real focus on quality ingredients and precise execution. Desserts were good, not great. While enjoyable, they didn't quite reach the "excellent" heights of the savory courses. Despite the desserts being just "good," the overall experience was excellent. Between the stunning decor, the top-tier service, and the delicious main fare, MAGMA is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Had a 12pm reservation and strategically ordered when I sat down as I read the comments that service can be quite slow. For us, service was great, didnt take too long - they often smiled, checked up on us and topped our glasses with water. We were given complimentary bread to start and steak sauces too. The entrees were all good - we had the kingfish with interesting flavours, spanner crab paired with very soft buttery brioche bread, beef tartare - all tasty and fresh. For the mains, we ordered chips on skin which was plentiful and the ribeye steak which I specifically mentioned to not have too much fat which they took note of and delivered. The mushroom sauce which was an add on ($6) was nice. For desserts, we ordered the creme brulee and that was a stand out for me. It was one of the best creme brulees I had. It was unique in its own way, not overly sickening sweet and was VERY smooth with balanced flavours. It came with a sorbet which was refreshing and the biscuit crumbs. I had a great meal at Magma 2 weeks ago. We had Leah as our server and she was amazing. The food here is out of this world and well worth the cost. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the service was amazing. Danny came around multiple times to check on how things were going. I hope to visit Magma many more times. It’s a place everyone needs to try at least once!

Amazing food and incredible service! Every single dish we tried was absolutely delicious, with standout favourites being the Blackmore Beef Tartare and the KFC Karam Fried Chicken—both bursting with flavour and perfectly executed. The atmosphere is stylish yet welcoming, and the team really made the night special. Isabella was fantastic, and a huge thank you to manager Tim, who took the time to explain each dish in detail. The red wine he selected for us was absolutely exceptional and elevated the entire dining experience. To finish on a high, the crème brûlée dessert was out of this world— We left so happy and already excited to come back again. Highly, highly recommend!

Took the family to lunch to celebrate. From the moment we walked in, top quality service, Ordered several entrees and mains which came out quite quickly. Everything was perfect, down to the random bottle of Cab Sav-Merlot off the wine list which was reasonably priced. The staff were meticulous, food plated perfectly, steak was excellent. Pricey but flawless. Will definitely be back!

Food curated to its perfection. Each dish that we tried have well balanced flavour, flavours that explode in your mouth and you will want to have another bite even if you’re full. The flat iron steak literally melts in your mouth! Beef jerky are so good and that’s coming from someone who doesnt like jerky that much! The scallops are a wow but the QLD Spanner Crab is just to die for! The house-made khorasan bread is something you will definitely ask for more! Will definitely be back for more! Service was amazing! The venue was very classy and the wine cellar is stunning!

I had an incredible dining experience at Magma. We have been looking for a steakhouse with good quality of steak around Sydney for a while but nothing was compared to the experience we had at Magma. The entrée alone set the tone for an amazing meal — absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour. We particularly love the vegetarian beef ball, beef tartare, spanner crab, KFC chicken and the kingfish. Full of flavour and all flavours blend together harmoniously. The steak that followed was cooked to absolute perfection — very tender, juicy, and exceptionally seasoned. These days every restaurant would say they have wague steak and charge you an arm and a leg for it and what come is usually rubbish, but the steak at Magma is definitely a truely good quality wague steak. The customer service was also impressive. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely care for their customers. From the moment we walked in to the very end of the meal, everything felt seamless and welcoming. Definitely will come back. Highly recommend Magma if you’re after outstanding food and top-tier service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
