BEST GLUTEN FREE TOASTIE I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! Their gluten free bread is seeded sourdough style that you wouldn’t think was gluten free. And the vegan cheese they replaced regular cheese was insane, and very affordable for such awesome ingredients! I had the tuna toastie with capers, sauerkraut, red onion, rocket + dill aioli (YUM) and their cakes are SO good. So many gluten free options and high quality! My go to cafe when I’m in the area.

Delicious food, menu always updating with amazing options. Perfect for breakfast, lunch or brunch! Great coffee too.

I admit I’m a pretty fussy coffee drinker, I have a great appreciation for good coffee and often don’t find it…..until today when passing through Lilydale and desperately needing a cup of sanity (school holidays 😫). 100% recommend the coffee here, in particular the iced coffee. I also welcomed the motivation from the little friend on the coffee machine 😂

Wow absolutely fantastic food dished up with magnificent staff. One of the only times I have had someone bring water for my Service Dog.

Decided to go out for brunch and looked at this place because of the cute name, and the menu looked great. Got there for a busy Sunday morning but they were able to seat us. Staff were friendly and effective despite how busy it was. Coffee and food both came out quickly. The coffee was the best I've had in a cafe at a long time, and the dishes were excellently prepared and tasted great! Price was very good for the quality of the food. Can't wait to come back! Update: came back to the new menu and they've redesigned the interior and it's better! Food and coffee still great. Service excellent.

We stopped at this café during a drive from Melbourne’s inner east to Healesville. There were plenty of tables available and the wait staff were friendly, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. Several dishes had a strong taste of what seemed like poor‑quality, overused canola oil, and I felt unwell on the drive home. Based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Had strawberry affogato and croissant to enjoy Melbourne’s winter sun! Lovely atmosphere, actually my first time to dine- in in Lilydale cafe. Perfect way to end a busy week with my fur bubba
