Today I was in their store and was checking diamond rings. It was only me there as a customer and 2 sales girls they continued doing what they were doing without paying attention to me. Need to say I gave birth only 3 weeks ago and wasn’t looking fancy or rich, just like moms with sleepless nights, maybe too casual for them, but in reality could buy their whole shop if I wanted. I looked over the whole shop and stopped just in front of girls and asked to show me a ring for 1300 dollars which is very very cheap and casual spend for me. Asian girl disappeared and older white chunky lady took a while before turning to me. I had to wait around 5 minutes until she finished all her "business" and after she asked my id??? It was only my phone in my hands and nothing else ( but I can pay with phone). Well I’m not from Australia and was surprised why she was asking me my documents to see the ring? She said it’s their policy… do I look like a robber? Or can’t afford 1300 Aus? Maybe it’s more logical if I show her money that I really have it and not wasting her precious time 😹 never thought I’ll be in a "pretty woman" movie situation. Btw in other shops 10 minutes before I was wearing 5000 dollars rings and no one asked id

i had a good experience last time i shopped at Goldmark.... i returned today bcz i love Portia... she gives good quality service n advice & treats all customers the same... & makes sure we get a great piece of jewellrey always.. Thanks Portia
