We recently celebrated our mum’s 100th birthday at Hideaway Lane, and it was truly a day we will never forget. From the moment we arrived, Julz and Kat went above and beyond to make this a special day for mum. Turning 100 is such a rare and beautiful milestone, and they treated the occasion with the care, warmth, and attention it deserved. Nothing was too much trouble. The setting was perfect — elegant — creating a wonderful atmosphere for family and friends to gather, share stories, and celebrate a century of amazing memories. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and enjoyed by all our guests. Thank you to everyone at Hideaway Lane for helping us create such precious memories on this extraordinary occasion. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate 100 wonderful years. 💛

An incredible hidden gem in the heart of Wollongong! Julz and Katrina have created a stunning space that feels both intimate and sophisticated. I attended the Margarita Night, and it was exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We were welcomed with cocktails on arrival, setting the tone for the evening. Ben, the mixologist, was fantastic — not only teaching us how to craft the perfect margarita, but also taking us through a curated tasting of delicious tequilas. Highly recommend for a memorable night out!

I'm so happy to have had my 30th birthday at Hideaway Lane. I can't thank them enough for there hard work putting this event together; I couldn't have done it without them. Julz and Katrina did an amazing job and truly went above and beyond. We all had a wonderful time and are so grateful for everything they did!

Thanks to Kat & Julz we had an incredibly special Bridal Shower at Hideaway Lane. We had the lux high tea package and they were incredibly helpful, kind and assisting in all our plans which led to a perfectly executed day. We would absolutely plan future events here!

I recently enrolled my kids in the vacation care cooking class at Hideaway Lane and the kids found it to be a fantastic experience! Owners Julz and Katrina, did an amazing job keeping the kids engaged and entertained while they made pizza and milkshakes. My children had a blast as they learned to create their own dishes. I highly recommend the kids cooking class at Hideaway Lane—it’s a wonderful way for kids to have fun, learn new skills, and make friends. They can't wait to return for more culinary adventures!

I had such a beautiful bridal shower at Hideaway Lane. Katrina and Julz made the whole event seamless from the planning right up to the end of the event. It is a stunning venue that allows scope to add your own personal touches and all my guests were so impressed with the whole event. Thank you so much Katrina and Julz! Katrina and Julz were amazing! Right from my first meeting with them to the end of our surprise 70th birthday for my husband, their attention to detail and their willingness to make this the best possible day for our family and friends. The food was spectacular, service could not be faulted, the decor was beautiful! Our day was made even more challenging given the 40 degree heat, but the girls made sure we were all as comfortable as possible. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a top-class venue with top-class service!
