The Dragonfly Inn

We stayed in the "Lola" room. The place was beautifully furnished, clean and friendly. Everything was very thoughtfully organised and arranged. We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely come again. We also loved the breakfast and prepared it in our kitchen in the room. Nice view to the garden. Quite a romantic place.

We really loved our stay at the Dragonfly Inn. What a lovely home it is, and every care taken to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms very quiet, great showers, real coffee in the rooms, and the bath! Absolutely lovely. Breakfast is self catered but beautifully presented. Would definitely book again when we come back to Launceston! The view is great too!

The house is beautiful, lots of character and great details. The common space is a great idea and it seems to work really well to meet people. The team has a great eye for detail. I loved the different options for coffee as I'm a huge french-press fan. The complimentary breakfast was very thoughtful and delicious. The handbook is comprehensive and they have accounted for emergencies and backups. I would definitely stay again. Thanks Dragonfly team. I hope to visit your latest jewel at some point.

The location is great with plenty of parking spaces. The room was clean and beautifully decorated inside — it's a pity we had such a tight itinerary that day and didn’t have time to take photos. The breakfast offered a generous spread. For guests with a lot of luggage, it's advisable to request a room on the ground floor.

Lovely old home home with a unique but cool vibe. Great location with Cataract Gorge Reserve around the corner and lovely gardens around the house itself. Would certainly stay here (or another of the properties owned by the same people) again.

The hosts are incredibly thoughtful — they’ve truly thought of everything a guest could possibly need. Every item provided is of high quality, even down to the smallest details like the toilet paper, which is clearly not the cheap kind. We had a wonderful night here. The dining area, the living room, everything was absolutely perfect. It was a truly lovely stay.

It's an interesting B&B. The building has been restored nicely, but there are oddities such as the uneven slopping floors. I assume it's structurally sound, but I did question this in my mind. There are thoughtful touches throughout, such as options for using the bulk shampoo or small individual potions, and complimentary drinks and nibbles. The room we were in was quiet, despite being downstairs and opposite the shared dining room. The breakfast was generous, including different milk options, cereals, museum, eggs, bread and juice etc. The only reason I don't give this 5 stars is because my husband ran out of hot water in the shower after 5mins when I had a 10min shower before him, and the driveway and parking is a very tight squeeze for us in a large 4WD. I would consider staying here again when considering value for money, and I would recommend to others.
