Mount Duneed Estate

We had lunch there, about 20 of my entourage. Food was fantastic. Head chef Daniel and his team did an outstanding job on the beef, chicken and all the rest of the delicious food. Everything was cooked to perfection with a great selected menu. I thoroughly enjoyed the meat. Was soft, and cooked medium with some really nice side dips. The waitresses for very attentive, approachable, knowledgeable of the menu, helpful and cleaned up the table consistently throughout our time there. Highly recommend this place for quality food.

We went for the $50 pp lunch special which is pretty decent value. Service was good although the quality of the mains and side were average at best and seemed precooked then reheated. Especially the steak which was rare but no juice which is what you’d expect freshly cooked? Pinot noir was good. Cab sav had to be replaced as first pour came out old but was fine after. Deserts and coffee however were excellent and would skip the mains and just return for desert. All okay but maybe a missed opportunity to make it great especially for a winery of this stature.

An overall relaxing and peacefully stay. The view looking over the vineyard is remarkable. The amenities and breakfast provided were more than enough. The 10:00am checkout though is a bit rush as other properties would usually have a 11:00am checkout.

We were lucky enough to celebrate our wedding at Mt Duneed Estate, and from the moment we arrived, we were completely blown away. The sweeping views of the rolling hills and the beautiful olive grove created the most breathtaking backdrop for our day. Every single staff member we encountered was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. A special shoutout to * Christine, who guided us through our first tour, and to Jacqui, our incredible wedding coordinator. Jacqui was truly exceptional — she was organised, calm, and on top of absolutely everything from start to finish. She made the entire planning process and our wedding day feel effortless. (Never let this one go!) The food was amazing, the venue was stunning, and the experience was unforgettable. We couldn’t recommend Mt Duneed Estate more highly to anyone considering a visit or planning their special day.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Zero stars Cancelled our booking less than 24 hours before check-in and completely ruined our weekend. We had planned the whole trip around this stay and had other reservations and activities organised nearby, all of which we then had to cancel at the last minute. Giving guests less than a day’s notice for a cancelled booking is incredibly disappointing. A very frustrating experience and not the level of reliability you expect when making a confirmed booking. Edit: no alternative accommodation was offered for the same dates we had booked and paid for. What was offered were alternative dates, credits or a full refund.

My partner and I recently stayed in one of the pods at Mt Duneed Estate, and "fantastic" doesn't even begin to cover it! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views and the peaceful atmosphere of the vineyard. The attention to detail made our stay feel truly special. We were greeted with a beautiful bottle of wine and a loaf of delicious, fresh complimentary bread was such a thoughtful and tasty touch! We will definitely be back!

An absolutely gorgeous venue for a wedding: the olive grove is stunning, and the view from the estate itself over the hills is beautiful. The food was delicious, the ambience was enjoyable, and while the wait staff were very courteous, more servers and responsiveness would have improved the experience. Would still recommend!
