Clovelly Restaurant & Bar

Cozy old pub on the side of the road, next to the Maritime Village. Their menu is very good. We tried the pasta and kangaroo steak, it was good. The ambience is absolute awesome. Definitely will go again if gotten a chance. Must visit.

We visited this lovely place with my family on Valentine’s Day. We arrived late, after 8 pm, and the restaurant was nearly full. The wait for our food was a bit longer, but it was understandable given the circumstances. The waiters apologized to us a few times for the delay. Throughout our meal, the waiters were incredibly kind and attentive. All the food we ordered was absolutely delicious! The only downside was the espresso. It wasn’t good. It was a bit too watery and too hot, which made the taste unpleasant. However, it’s worth noting that this is a restaurant, not a cafe. The kangaroo steak was amazing! 🤩

Had dinner here after exploring Warrnambool. Ooooo, I got to admit, I simply loveeee the Turkish bread! It was just soooo delicious. Soft, crunchy and with the butter, yummylicous and when add with cheese, mouth watering! 😋 Pumpkin soup was soooo smooth. Ribeye was perfectly cooked and loved every single bite. Zucchini Pasta was flavoursome for a vegetarian dish. Barramundi was delicately cooked and was delicious. Dessert was light and fulfilling. Our thanks to the Chef, his team, to the bartender, to the rest of waiter/waitress and to the Restaurant Manager. Thank you so much! Keep the amazing work going on! 💪❤️😍

A lovely restaurant filled with warmth & kindness. Very good service and food is amazing. Everything is good, really. If you ever order a dessert, make sure to add Raj's apple crumb into your order!

The food was great and the service was excellent. The two staff who served us were exceptional. I wish we had taken their names in order to let the manager know how wonderful they were. Thank you so much for the brilliant service

Just came back from dinner at this restaurant and was left very impressed by the food and service. The waitress and owner were so welcoming and lovely to talk to. The food came out really quickly and was delicious. Very happy with this experience and will come again in our next visit.

If you value your hard-earned money and possess even a mildly sophisticated palate, I’d strongly suggest dining elsewhere. This was my second visit passing through Warrnambool, and I (optimistically) brought my company along — both of us left thoroughly underwhelmed. I ordered the 300 g scotch fillet and the so-called "hand-made pasta," which tasted like a limp, soggy biscuit that had briefly made eye contact with a microwave. The scotch fillet was chewy like rubber, how is it possible to get a cow that chewy unless frozen and thawed. The staff were genuinely fantastic, but unfortunately the kitchen and the budget appear to exist in an entirely different postcode to the rest of the venue.
