LTU held an event here and it was fantastic. Ali and her team did a great job setting up the Hall for the event. The room looked great, the catering portions were great, and the tech all worked fine. I would definitely recommend this venue for events with communities!
One star for political messaging over a captive audience. Before the performance, WPACC broadcast an Acknowledgement of Country that goes beyond courtesy into an institutional pledge: "We are committed to walking beside all traditional owners as we move toward reconciliation." I came for a performance, not ideology over a microphone. A public venue should keep pre-show announcements viewpoint-neutral. If it insists on values pledges, fairness requires symmetry—also acknowledge the liberal democratic foundations that make this institution possible (equal citizenship, rule of law, free speech, open inquiry). As delivered, it signals one worldview as "approved" and pressures silent compliance. Remove pledges from the mic, or make the messaging genuinely balanced.
Fantastic place not to big good acoustics good sight lines easy entry and exit free parking- however No Food allowed and only bottled water bar price was way cheaper than Melbourne 12$ stubby love this place
We attended from out of town to see a performance. We had never been to the venue. The theatre is great. Easy access for those with a Disability or mobility issues as there are ramps and stairs. There is an onsite cafe which was open before and after the performance.
Went to watch Peter Pan play by Cathedral College which was sold out.We just managed to buy the last 3 tickets. The ticket buying process was painless and quick. We got sat in the nose bleed section and had a good view. We really enjoyed our time. 👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿
Wont refund tickets even though the performance is months out and they were purchased less than 24 hours ago.
Good sized theatre. Comfortable seating. Intermezzo cafe on premises. Good food. Full house for the Black Sorrows. Great show.
