Goonoo Goonoo Station

What a wonderful place for a 3 day stay. The room was spotlessly clean, with a bed you don't want to get out off and everything you could possibly need or want in the room...... a espresso machine and milk frothed, fridge etc. The view and verandah was perfect for that afternoon drink and nibbles. I /we would recommend a stay here, it was perfect.

The property itself is a lovely place. Beautiful grounds, pool, excellent fine dining restaurant. It's located 20 minutes out of town so a little inconvenient. The accommodation is fantastic and modern. Things that need attention: There was hardly any soaps to wash with. Just some small satchels. Minimal hand towels. Management need to minimise the amount confirmation emails before guests arrive. Two is sufficient.

Beautiful property, felt like we were a million miles away from the fast pace of everyday life. The accommodation is lovely, beds comfortable we would have loved a fire place that was operational even if had been gas it would have just topped off the stay, Glasshouse restaurant food was delicious The ambiance was fabulous a short stroll back to our accommodation where the rain fell lightly on the roof, so peaceful. Breakfast was simple but so tasty. Should have stayed another night.

Absolutely wonderful experience dining in the Glasshouse Restaurant this evening. The food was exemplary and the service was spot on. A stunning location for a special family dinner.

This place is amazing! We stayed in the old sheering headquarters for a night and enjoyed a beautiful dinner in the glass house restaurant. We could walk around the property and check out all the history. It was so quiet and peaceful and great value for money. Highly recommend.

Amazing place to stay. Beautiful, quiet, serene. We look forward to staying there again.

We stayed here during our honeymoon 4 years and loved it so much that we have made the 4 hour drive back 2 more times for anniversaries and plan on doing so even more often. The gardens when you arrive are absolutely stunning and bring a sense of relaxation, happiness, fresh air, and a whimsical feel. The Office is where we stayed and it was the perfect home away from home. Cosy, and roomy with everything you need. The staff were friendly and available if you needed anything. The restaurant ha amazing customer service with some of the best meals we've had at a restaurant. They knew it was our honeymoon and made specials congratulations on our desserts. Very thoughtful and kind. Of all the places we visited throughout our road trip, this one has kept a special place in our hearts.
