The place is really nice and the view is good. But if you are a Sydney-sider, you already have that view many times. The problem is, do you need to spend that amount of money to get that view? If many people from outside New South Wales region, it is really worth it for them. The view can capture both the Opera House and Harbour Bridge in one single view, which is worth it. I am only giving 4 stars, since I have been living in Sydney for a long time and the view is not that worth it for me. The food is average, it is fine dining. The waiters and waitresses are attentive and good, nothing to complain about.

We held our wedding at the MCA Harbourside Room and loved it. The views are incredible and especially at night. George and the team made everything so easy in the lead up to the event so we didn't have to stress. On the night the fire alarms went off (due to a birthday celebration on the ground floor) and the evacuation process was all handled calmly. Our guests had a fantastic time and loved the location as well. We also hired the gallery for photos and the art gallery staff were really professional and helpful too.

We hosted our wedding ceremony and reception at the MCA Quayside Room, and it was an absolute dream. The MCA event team are extremely kind, attentive and professional and helped us at every stage of wedding planning to ensure we pulled off the event we’d always dreamed off. Tallay, our event coordinator, went above and beyond to ensure that our day ran smoothly and that everything was in place before the wedding, and our on the day coordinator, Patrick, was calm and kind - the exact energy you need on a big day. The BIG group are the event caterers for the MCA and we also can’t recommend them enough. Our wedding went off without a hitch thanks to the experience, knowledge and professionalism of the team at the MCA - and they do it all while being incredible personable and sweet.

We hired the Harbourside Room at the MCA for our wedding reception and wow, our guests are still talking about how incredible it was! George from the MCA was amazing with helping us plan our wedding, especially during covid. And the venue went above and beyond in helping us make sure our day went as smooth as possible. The venue and the view is stunning and we will never forget it!

Not the place to go if you are having a religious or cultural wedding or have dietary requirements. Our guests have a diet that was kept for religious reasons. The caterers chosen by the MCA were not able to accomodate and we were told we weren’t allowed to have external caterers. For a place that I once thought was inclusive and welcomed people regardless of race or religion, I have to say I was a bit disappointed.
