Mercure Hotel Tamworth

The hotel itself is great. Very clean and modern with comfortable beds and pillows. |Unfortunately, they don’t seem to give drink vouchers to Accor Plus members like other Accor hotels, even though there does not appear to be any exemption on the Accor website, I showed my Accord Gold card at reception and the person asked me to write down my Accor Plus number on the check in sheet myself, and provided no drink voucher or any other information regarding the availability of an upgrade, food discounts, late check out etc. this is what generally occurs at other hotels in the scheme. To be honest she didn’t appear very knowledgeable or interested in the topic at all. Nor was she particularly happy or helpful. It wasn’t busy I was the only one in reception. Other reviews indicate the staff are very friendly, so maybe I just got wrong person on wrong day.

From check in to check out the service was amazing. 5 star hotel with all the features. Rooms were large and looked brand new. Best shower we have ever had in a hotel. Its the little things like a coffee machine, and filtered water that make the stay like home. Pool was large, with accessible steps and a hand railing. Plenty of sun lounges and chairs. Next door to the leagues club with direct access, for breakfast lunch and dinner. I would say 9.510. I would have given it 10/10 but the beds are quite firm, and with a back injury thats not ideal.

Room is very big and clean. It's the best Mecure I stayed in AU.

I usually vary my stays to get a feel of all different types of accommodation available wherever i am across the beautiful regional NSW landscape. This time, it was Mecure's turn and they 100% did not disappoint. The room was spacious; cool and the bed was so comfortable getting up early the next morning was a battle. Having the Wests Club directly next door was convenient for dinner and the pool downstairs was just as inviting. There will be no more varied stays when i reach Tamworth again, this is my new spot. Thank you so much

Fantastic experience at the Mercure - staff were friendly and helpful. The room was huge (Adam Harvey Suite - 2 bedrooms). 3 TVs with Foxtel and casting capability. 3 separate air conditioning controls. Comfy bedding. Great facilities (the pool was great and even has an outdoor shower for rinsing off before going back to your room). There is easy access into Wests for the bar or cafe or restaurant. But everythng in Tamworth is only a short drive away anyway. For those on a roadtrip, there is also a Mobil station right near the carpark entrance. The only thing lacking from our room was it didnt have a microwave or toaster, but this is a very minor quibble. Would happily stay here again on the next trip to Tamworth.

Nice place with a league club attached to it. 24 hours reception which is good especially for late check-in. Rooms are nice and modern and comfortable with coffee and tea.

Super Clean and tidy. Everything felt clean and looked after. Friendly staff and we enjoyed the restaurant with our two young boys playing in the playground. Great basic food for a pub meal.
