Visited area 2nd week of school holidays very quiet not many campers Plenty of frogs at night!!

Beautiful venue, friendly staff, delicious food and reasonable prices! We recently got married at Goolabri and couldn't be happier. The location was very convenient for all guests to travel to and is naturally beautiful. I would highly recommend Ben and the team at Goolabri to anyone looking for event space.

NYE at Goolabri in the Wedgetail Pavilion with 19-twenty, Eklypse, Sunday Lemonade, Salty Goodness and Log Davey was great. Thank you to all who made this event happen.

Spectacular venue right on Canberra's doorstep. Hipcamp on-site with dam. Lovely staff. Love it

It was a chapel wedding like no other and I have to say, I shed a few tears as it was one of the most beautiful emotional ones because their vows were amazingly wonderful and heartfelt. My friends couldn't have picked a more perfect place for their event; canapés were on offer for the starving hoards and, when we sat down for dinner, the food was excellent! I had the eggplant for entrée as well as the main (couldn't eat the pork as I don't eat pork at all) but from what I heard, it was to everyone's taste. The décor was really pretty too with swathes of white fabric and twinkling lights and lovely timber everywhere. Plenty of seating outside for those wanting to see the beautiful view and pretty grounds. We were given model aeroplanes to play with until the service so that was a lot of fun until they ended up on the roof!

My wife and I recently got married here, I’ll start off with the venue is beautiful and the land is gorgeous. These two stars are for the venue However we were expecting the reception venue to be clean and our hire items to be easily accessible. We spent ages trying to find the cutlery we paid for to find it dirty and unpolished. Luckily my parents in law could find the time to clean it all before setting it out. Floor was dusty and hadn’t looked like it has been mopped in a while. Toilets had barely any toilet paper and NO hand soap. Looking around the venue there was random stuff left everywhere. We didn’t hire the kitchen but when we looked inside it was like a bomb had hit it and it smelt awful. The owners of this poor venue don’t look after it. Communication with the venue was horrible and when I threatened to find a new venue THATS when they wanted to talk to me. Communication improved from there. It’s a beautiful location with incredible venues. But the owners really let it down. The day was beautiful because we made it beautiful and the photos reflect our hard work not the venues

A huge reception venue 20 minutes north of Canberra. The event organisers had arranged their own amazing drinks and catering. Parking in a grassy paddock did not make it easy for limited mobility guests to access the venue at the bottom of a long stone staircase. A perfect venue for a large wedding reception if you are young and fit. Reponses to an enquiry regarding disabled access needed to be taken on board by staff at the front gate. Had we waited I am sure something would have been sorted out. In 2023 every entertainment venue should have disabled access as well as the ability to evacuate guests with limited mobility in the event of an emergency. This component of what should be a documented and tested emergency response and or appropriate venue access did not seem to be well known. I am sure it will be addressed one day.
