Stoney Creek Estate

We had our 10-year anniversary at Stoney Creek Estate on the last weekend in August and it was amazing! The freezing weather meant we set up the whole thing in the barn, which actually turned out even better than planned and was spacious, warm and cosy. Sheryl was fantastic to deal with and made everything stress free, including coordinating with caterers for set up locations etc. Lara was also great to deal with via email to organise the venue. They have such a great range of furniture and decorations available to hire, which made it really budget friendly. Couldn’t recommend this venue more, it was beautiful and perfect for our day!

Amazing place for a wedding. Getting married in the olive groves was truly magical and then having the reception in the barn was such a great place, lots of room for people to sit and also plenty of room for a dance floor. Having the cottage to stay in is such a great idea, not far to travel at all. Thank you so much for having us.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our wedding at Stoney Creek Estate was nothing short of perfect! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful — every corner was so photogenic and made for the most stunning backdrop. Lara, Wayne & Sheryl were the absolute best to work with! They were so accommodating, helpful, and genuinely kind — nothing was ever too hard, and they said yes to everything with a smile. On the day, Wayne went above and beyond, helping us fix multiple things in an emergency — a total lifesaver! We couldn’t have asked for a better team or a more perfect place to get married. Thank you for helping make our day so special! 💛

Wayne and his family have owned this property for the past four years and have done a lot to it in that time - including setting up a private, fully self-contained cottage that is available for hire. I can understand how it would be an ideal setting to hold special events, especially in good weather. I would suggest having an undercover verandah space and gravel on the dirt pathways as these can get muddy and slippery when it rains. Today, the owners opened their estate up to locals and others for a free Christmas in July event. They had a singing duo - who were absolutely amazing - pizza, coffee, desert, and drink vans. The indoor seating area had heating and was decorated, keeping with the Christmas theme. There was a small play area for children who were also allowed to interact with their gentle Shetland pony. Everyone could wander around the property, which was lovely. There were a few much needed firepits outside. When it rained, everyone gathered indoors. That's why it would be handy to have that outdoor space undercover. Manor Road music duo were excellent 👌

Absolutely beautiful place, a real hidden gem! Sheryl & Wayne and Lara are so accommodating and so lovely to deal with, they are really relaxed and happy to accommodate and help however they can. They helped make our day so special and have been a pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process. The Estate is stunning and you are spoilt with choices for photos! The cottage is beautiful and very comfortable and it was amazing that we were able to have our two dogs stay with us too. Thank you guys! Lauren & Alex

My wife are thrilled to have married here. A truly stunning setting, coupled with a beautifully renovated barn, quaint accomodation, and a lovely and accomodating family whom run it. We booked in fairly last minute due to a change of plans, which was very well handled. Thank you very much to the family that run Stoney Creek Estate, highly recommended!!

Safe to say this venue is the Adelaide Hills best kept secret & it was the perfect spot to throw our surprise wedding! It’s the full package – you’ll be spoilt for ceremony location choices, the ‘barn’ is stunning from every angle and our reception/cocktail party was beautiful, onsite accommodation for the bride and groom is stunning (with an outdoor bath – what more could you want?!) and picture perfect for all those wedding photographs you dreamed of! I can’t speak highly enough of Lara & Sheryl at Stoney Creek Estate; nothing was ever a trouble and they were always one step ahead – thank you ladies!! Don’t hesitate and book in a time to view, you won’t be disappointed… but just prepare to fall in love!
