Townsville!!!! You want all the nice things the cities have well then this restaurant is it. We dined on a Wednesday night and only 2 other couples were there. Get out and enjoy this place. We opted for the shared experience for 2. Every dish was superb, delicious and served in style. Couldn’t possibly eat it all and when dessert came - well way too delicious. Sure it wasn’t cheap but it wasn’t regular pub food either. Have a classy night and treat yourself. Dibash the assistant manager was our server and was on point the entire evening, he was proud of his food and very happy to showcase their menu. He’d only been in Townsville for 12 days and loves our town already … so get down to Jam and indulge your tastebuds.

We had the most wonderful experience with the staff/team at Jam Corner, we held a industry dinner event with 11 people and were thoroughly impressed with not only the top quality service and attention-to-detail, but the food was just incredible too. We had the tri-drop guest menu which consisted of an entree and main for $75 per head. I had the dumplings as an entree and a grilled chicken dish with this leek that was just divine (chicken was cooked perfectly). My colleagues I saw had scallops for entrees (and something else) but the other main was fish or steak, again - excellent options. The menu is so reasonably priced for such delicious food, you honestly can’t find any better. We also had a vegetarian dietary requirement which they catered to with ease. This event had been months in the works with so many emails back and forth and the team handled every query with professionalism and friendliness. I so highly recommend this restaurant and event space. Big shout out to Head Chef Jason and Bar & Restaurant Manager Paul - they were so helpful and gracious, super inviting and just made us feel at home. Thank you for having us!

Visited Jam Corner this morning and ordered the Avocado, Tomato & Corn Succotash with Truffle Balsamic and Bread ($19). Unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The portion size was shockingly small and the avocado had a very pungent, unpleasant taste — not sure what was mixed in, but it completely ruined the dish. For $19 a portion, it was an absolute joke. Definitely not worth the price and it spoiled what was meant to be a nice breakfast outing. The dish looked good though. Unfortunately, it was all looks but no character.

Went this morning to have breakfast. Ordered Avacado, tomato & corn succotash , truffle balsamic + bread which tasted really awful. Was overly priced for a piece of bread(palm size) , pungent avacado, uncooked corn and tomato. Would really not recommend this place to start mornings. Spoilt the start of the day.

First time visiting jam last night but I had heard such wonderful things about the place so I had to visit , i was with my good friend celebrating my birthday , food and service was amazing, very attentive staff and food was delicious, the whole vibe did not disappoint and great cocktails. I would like to say thank you to Jason and his team and all staff who attended to us last night , I will definitely return.

Home made hollandaise sauce, yes for real and it is so yummy!! Open Sunday morning for breakfast. Great coffee, large servings, friendly and efficient service. Thank you
