I just had my wedding at Luminare and it was amazing! All of the team at Luminare were fantastic, they were happy to answer any of my questions in relation to the venue or our event. From the moment we spoke with Isabella, then Samantha and then Kelsey and staff on the night were absolutely incredible. We had many compliments on how amazing the food was, the venue itself and about the staff. Thank you to everyone at Luminare for creating such an incredible and memorable experience for our special day! 💕

What an unforgettable experience Luminare was! We got married in May 2025, and to this day we still can’t stop talking about how beautiful our wedding was. From the very first meeting, the team at Luminare were absolutely phenomenal. Every single detail was handled with such care and professionalism making the entire planning process feel seamless and stress-free. Emily was an absolute gem to work with her guidance, organisation, and kindness made us feel completely supported from start to finish. She truly went above and beyond to bring our vision to life and it showed in every part of the day. The wedding itself ran flawlessly, allowing us to just relax and soak in every moment. The venue was breathtaking with views that left our guests in awe. We’ve received so many compliments on the incredible food, outstanding service and the magical atmosphere that only Luminare can create. Everything was simply perfect. If you’re looking for a venue that delivers exceptional service, stunning views and a team that genuinely cares about making your day unforgettable, we cannot recommend Luminare and The Big Group highly enough. Fantastic venue with fantastic staff. The view of the city is astounding and it is a perfect choice for weddings. The food was wonderful and tasty and the staff are also very kind and attentive to any of your needs. It's always a delight to serve our bubble tea cart at Luminare.

Attended a wedding (250 guests). The balconies create a great space for pre dinner drinks and to show off the lights of Melbourne during the evening. Staff were attentive and very well trained. A good place to celebrate.

OMG, what an amazing venue. Went to my cousins wedding and it was fantastic. Very intimate, friendly, fast efficient service. The venue was decorated so beautifully and classy. The venue wasn't huge which made for a very lovely wedding.

We had a phenomenal experience with Luminare as our wedding venue. Emily, our event manager was exceptionally attentive & the care and professionalism she exuded was second to none. She had our back and made our experience seamless. Every question asked, she would have a response within seconds. Every phone call was answered right away. All the stress of planning a wedding was taken away and we were able to sit back & enjoy the process. We were well looked after in every way - I can't thank her enough! Every single thing was perfect on the night - the staff were incredible & all my wishes came true.. I would 100% recommend The Big Group to all brides & grooms looking for a perfect wedding venue - we are thrilled. X

Pros: - Amazing rooftop view of the city Cons: - Poor communication from the event manager - Everything incurs extra charges like bumping in earlier than 2 hours, ceremony cleanup, smoke isolation for indoor pyrotechnics, rehearsals, special dietary requirements - Rigid and awkward arrival logistics - Strict noise restrictions - Average food We had our wedding at Luminare. The rooftop view was absolutely stunning and was definitely the reason why we chose it. However, our overall experience was not great. Our event manager was very difficult to reach and she would only provide the venue’s main landline number, which was never answered, and she took about a week to respond to emails. Important deadlines and details weren’t clearly communicated, which made the planning process more stressful than it needed to be. On the night, staff were friendly but seemed more focused on packing up than letting guests enjoy the evening. My drinks were constantly cleared every time I left the table, even after just one sip. My guests also saw staff taking down decorations at 8:30pm, even though the event was to end at 10:30pm. There were lots extra charges like early bump-in, ceremony clean-up, ceiling installations, rehearsals, special dietary needs—everything came with a fee. We paid to use the ceremony space and was initially told we could use light amplification but a week before our wedding were told we couldn’t use any amplification at all. Arrival was also awkward, with the car park not opening until a later time than agreed and guests being made to wait outside until they were allowed in. Overall, beautiful location but needs improvement in flexibility and inclusions to be a top wedding venue.
