⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We recently celebrated my girlfriend’s surprise birthday at the Hudson Hotel and it couldn’t have gone better! From the very beginning, the staff helped me plan everything perfectly — from seating to the menu — and a special shout-out goes to Zoe and Jade for their incredible support in putting it all together. The food was phenomenal and exceeded everyone’s expectations. Guests are still talking about how delicious everything was! The kids’ play area was also a huge highlight — it kept the little ones entertained for hours, which made the day so much easier for the adults to enjoy. Throughout the entire event, the staff were attentive, constantly checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. Their effort truly made the celebration feel special and memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we’re already looking forward to returning very soon. Highly recommend the Hudson Hotel for anyone planning a special event!

Had a decent time here. Drinks aren’t that cheap. About $8.5 for a schooner depends what you get. The food is decent but not amazing. Also the pokies didn’t pay for any of my mates. The burger I got was 3.5/5

Amazing pizza and pasta deal at a great price! The ambiance was lovely, and the big car park was convenient. The small play area for kids was a nice bonus. Service was okay—could be better, but overall, a good experience!

A great place to have a relaxed casual dinner. We appreciate the kitchen for being so accommodating in swapping sides. Our meal was very tasty and great value. All staff were friendly and provided great service. Thankyou to everyone on shift.

Second visit — some improvement, but still falling short On our first visit last year, we ordered pasta that arrived cold to the touch despite the bowl being warm. Concerned about food safety, we requested a refund, though the way management handled the situation left a lot to be desired. It put us off returning for quite some time. After some encouragement from family, we decided to give it another chance. We steered clear of the pasta this time and ordered pizza instead, which was reasonable. Unfortunately, the beer was a real disappointment — completely flat, with no carbonation whatsoever, apparently poured straight from a keg. It's easily one of the worst beers we've been served at a restaurant. It's fair to say there's been some progress since our last visit, but there are still significant improvements needed before we'd consider this a reliable dining option. Hopefully the kitchen and bar continue to raise their standards.

We came to Hudson’s for their Kids NYE event and had such a great experience. They had an entire room set up as a disco, and the kids absolutely loved it — playing games with the host, winning prizes, and dancing the night away. The food was tasty and came out quickly. We ordered the $49 deal with two pizzas and two pastas, and there was plenty — we even had leftovers. Highly recommend! It’s great to see how kid-friendly Hudson’s is; they’ve really thought of everything for families.

Disappointed. $32 for a rump steak and chips. Steak was cooked the way I like but full of gristle which made it tough. The chips were poorly fried,one in my meal was still partly frozen. Pay $8 for a garden salad that when I put it on my plate it was quite clearly yesterday's because of the tinge on the lettuce. The wife's beef cheeks while tender lacked seasoning and just looked horrible. So after paying $28 for a beer a Coke and 150ml of moscato not somewhere I'd be bragging to my friends about.
