Room are clean its quiet standard. Nice duct air conditioning. Complimentry water in a plastic jug on arrival would have been awesome. Also concrete undercover parking would have made a big difference, especially when it rains and your not walking in mud to get in/out of the car.

My room was not properly cleaned when I arrived, and the overall condition of the facility clearly needs an upgrade. As you can see in the photos, the bathroom is unsafe to use due to the lack of cleanliness. This is unacceptable. During my previous stay, the room was in much better condition than what I experienced this time. Renovation and proper maintenance are urgently needed. Something must be done.

Great location. Was very clean and restaurant was superb. I marked down as bathroom needs updating. Using the old tub with half splash screen.

I really enjoyed my visit here. I came for a week trip and was happy with my stay. The staff were nice and checked in on me to ask when I was arriving as I came at night. The check in process was simple and easy. Although I will note that the reception area's ground floor had a very strong laundry and chemical smell to it. It was not bad but it was a little unpleasant. Nevertheless, the rooms were good for the price. Had a couple of interesting things such as a manual AC dial which I have never seen. I was also not a fan of the lighting layout and the popcorn ceiling. There were some basics in the room but I didn't use any. The bed was ok and didn't feel bad. The shower pressure and head could have been a little bit better. The room also had huge sliding doors which I always love to get some fresh air and sun in. There was also a really nice view out of the city. Overall pretty good value and can't complain.

Don’t stay here if you need a good nights sleep. The doors to the rooms have no sound dampening so if anyone on your floor leaves their room there is a loud thud all the way through the floor you are on. This is annoying at 5:30 am. The air con didn’t get cold enough for Rockhampton in summer. Finally the bathroom door didn’t close. This place is mutton dressed up as lamb.

First, privacy was none-existent. After check-in and me minding my own business in the room, the staff unlocked my door without knocking. He closed the door immediately knowing I was inside. I confronted him what he did and he only answered checking if I had any concerns with the room. This wasn't an isolation as my colleagues had the same experience. Although there was no security concerns at the end of the day, I can't help to wonder which hotel staff would not knock before entering the room for whatever official reasons.

About the only positive I can think of is that the bed was good. I was very disappointed with the room amenities, especially that there was nowhere to put our bags to unpack, or in fact, anywhere to put our clothes! I suggested to the receptionist, that there seemed to be furniture missing from our room, in particular a suitcase stand of any kind and no drawers for clothes. He said there was nothing missing and suggested that other guests put their cases on the floor! I said this was not an option for me, due to arthritis in my back (painful to bend). I took photos to upload, but that doesnt seem to be an option. As we stayed three nights, I wanted to unpack my clothes. We put our cases on the lounge and I put some clothes on the back of that. Also, the bathtub and hand basin were both cracked and both basic taps needed washers replaced.
