The Suburban Rooftop & Dining

We came in for an early dinner on a whim and had the loveliest dining experience. The wait staff were friendly and prompt on our arrival and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the bruschetta for entrée and barramundi with radicchio salad & potatoes for main. Everything was delicious. A particular highlight were the roast potatoes. The crispiest potatoes I’ve ever eaten. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place. Shout out to the girls serving and putting our bill through. Lovely staff and great atmosphere. Our compliments to the chef.

Valentine's night in a nice ambient venue. The wait staff were friendly, and the service was good. The lady we first encountered on entering probably should have explained how to get to the roof-top, as at first we sat on the mezzanine level having missed the slightly hidden extra stairs. (And the lift was out of order). Our entree came out relatively quickly, but the Bruschetta bread was rock hard. The squid was good however. For mains we had a miso eggplant - which was quite nice. The Barramundi at $39 was the biggest disappointment of the night - although cooked well, it was a child sized portion that also had bones in it. I did inform the waiter, and he said he'd pass it on - We didn't hear back about it... It's a shame because the venue is quite nice - but it is a pub, not a gourmet restaurant, so we both felt a little short-changed.

I have been to the Suburban many times and it never disappoints- The staff are always welcoming and friendly , service is always spot on and efficient- the food is top rate They know how to cook a perfect rare steak which can be a challenge. their lunch menu ( pub faves and a drink ) is exceptional value . Beautiful succulent Chicken breast Parmas - with the perfect ration of Cheese ham and tomato - gorgeous fresh salad and sizzling chippies Great steak sandwiches and even the Hamburgers are heaven. We love the Consistency at the Suburban knowing that every time you go you are guaranteed a great tasting meal and epic service from an amazing team *just been for Sunday Lunch - Lambshanks were delicious - as always amazing service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely love this place, went out with 3 other friends and it was a great time. The food and drinks are delicious, the staff are nice, and the atmosphere and vibes are great on the rooftop. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait for dinner, but if you order early and chit chat while waiting, it doesn't really matter. It's the perfect place to go for dinner or lunch after shopping at Eastland. Already booked my next time here again!

The place itself is great. The menu is not bad. The service is ok. The food wait times are a little beyond reasonable. The food, my beef burger and side of chips on arrival were cold, leaving little enjoyment. My colleagues food similarly cold. But we all got our meals around the same time.

I've visited this bar/restaurant for a work event a couple of times now. It has an expansive seating area, both the ground and rooftop areas have a bar and dining options. The atmosphere is electric of an evening and a great location for a social catch up and chat.

Sub-urban and Sub-par. Ordered the $30 Parma and got what may be the most disappointing Parma of my life: - Tiny, potentially a Parma for ants - Pancake thin which meant it was... - Incredibly dry - Had never so much as heard of salt, very bland flavour. Maybe the other food is good, but skip the Parma.
