Polperro Winery

We had lunch yesterday on the deck which was so lovely for our group of 4. There is shade so no risk of being sunburnt over a long lunch. The food was faultless and the service was very attentive. I haven’t enjoyed food this delicious and unique as Polperro offered for a while. It also represents excellent value for the quality and quantity of food. Thankyou for a great day.

My husband I had had such a delicious long lunch at PolPerro winery yesterday. The restaurant itself is in a beautiful building that sits overlooking the vineyard. A perfect location. The service was warm friendly and professional and the food was superb. Two stand out dishes were the red snapper followed by the duck with the best roast potatoes we have ever tasted. We definitely will be going back.

Celebrated my wife’s birthday 🎂 at this amazing winery food was absolutely amazing , each dish was like art and so delicious we left so full. Service was great and view of the vineyard was breathtaking. We definitely regard polperro set menu degustation 5 stars and will be back again.

Dined at Polperro winery for the set menu on Friday for lunch, it was such a wonderful experience. The 14 course menu was delicious, beautifully curated, tasty and we really appreciated that it was local in season produce. Wine matched perfectly, of course. Staff were also knowledgeable and warm. Beautiful dining experience. Would definitely recommend to friends who want to visit the region.

Went to Polperro Winery’s restaurant to celebrate my mother’s 60th as a group of 11. Food was fantastic, service was okay. Older gentleman who served me and our group was rather rude whilst serving us. When we approached him after service and having paid over $1000, addressing his rudeness—he got very defensive and proceeded to say that there had been complaints about the two children within our group. We had booked with the restaurant months in advance and stated there would be two children present—to which they informed us that was perfectly fine and they had a kids menu. To then be told by this older gentleman that my four year old son looked like "he was ready to have a go" when we arrived, saying a four years olds behaviour was unacceptable. Seemed unprofessional and a little unnecessary—especially after we’d just expressed our dissatisfaction with his table side manner. If you don’t want kids at your restaurant please say this upfront. No need to be a rude about it. It felt quite racially charged. There’s a very fine line between maintaining your restaurant atmosphere and judgement. Last time we’ ll be spending our time and money at an establishment that has rude staff. Keep your three stars.

My partner and I dined in yesterday for lunch. I have been once before and loved it, the food and service was excellent! The courses are perfectly timed to come out so that you can enjoy and chat. We couldn’t fault any of the dishes and we will definitely return when the new menu comes out!

The entire experience was exceptional. From the venue, the wines, the increble food and especially the service. Robyn was outstanding, she delivered genuinely warm, attentive service with just the right amount of humour, entertaining us all. In fact all the staff serve with effortless professionalism, making the entire winery experience feel personal and memorable. A highlight of our entire holiday.
