Perouse Randwick by Sydney Lodges

My stay at Sydney Lodges was exactly what I needed! Fantastic location, close to the tram line and bus stops and only a short walk down to Coogee. Check in was quick and easy, we even got our room a few hours early. They had extra towels available to collect in the hallway if you needed which was a nice touch. We booked the bigger room and it was perfect. Although we didn't use it personally, there was a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room downstairs which would be ideal for longer stays. My favorite memory in Sydney was going to Manly on the ferry which was a lovely day trip I would highly recommend!

Easy access to public transport and availability of common kitchen make this place an ideal one for both of us to revisit Sydney after 20 years. The room is comfortable and the staffs are very helpful. Checking in and checking out are easy and simple. We had a great stay.

I stayed at Perouse Randwick initially for 2 nights but it ended up being a week whilst I was visiting my son in the nearby Prince of Wales hospital. The staff were absolutely lovely, so helpful and friendly, extending my stay on a day by day basis, and, when my son was discharged, they booked us into the little apartment they also have available at short notice. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The laundry room downstairs is so convenient, and the kitchen is fantastic, so I didn't have to spend a lot of money eating out. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the light rail and about 5 minutes walk from a Coles and other shops, so everything you could need is on the doorstep, including a beautiful beach 20 minutes walk away. I can 100% recommend this hotel!

We have stayed around New year's eve We couldn't find any place closer to the downtown for an affordable price and this place was still quite expensive (we were booking it in early November). The neighborhood was quiet and cozy, there were cafes around and nice Coogee beach in a 20-minute walk. The city center is accessible via tram (30 minutes).

7 night stay, I was happy with room size as I would at hospital most days. Bathroom small but serviceable. Room spotlessly clean. Loved having fully equipped kitchen & onsite laundary. Close to shops, restaurants, light rail and enjoyable walk to Coogee Beach. Staff friendly & helpful. Definitely recommend. Compared to other places good value for money.

Recently stayed at Perouse for a course at the nearby hospital. Was unsure as usually stay in the CBD but was so glad I stayed at this location. Very convenient for the hospital as well as the light rail for the occasional trip into town. Away from the noisy city was also great for peace and quiet. Short 20min walk down to Coogee beach and the walkway up to Bondi was great for a sunny afternoon off. Easy check-in and check-out with helpful staff. Room was spacious and clean with plenty of room to do some work and relax. Bed was comfortable as well. Would definitely recommend to my friends visiting the area for a course or even want to stay somewhere close to the beach but still with easy access to the city!

I stay at this lodge once every two weeks when I come to Sydney for cancer treatment at Prince of Wales Hospital. Having somewhere this close to the hospital has made my life so much easier. Without it, I would be facing several hours of travel back and forth, which can be exhausting, costly, and overwhelming during cancer treatment. The location is super convenient, not just for the hospital but also for the restaurants and little spots nearby. It gives me the chance to catch up with friends in the evening, which I otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity to do.
