Stayed here recently for Valentine’s and had the most incredible experience! The staff were all wonderful and very attentive to our needs. Special thanks to Ofania, who assisted us during our stay, she was absolutely lovely and made our experience all the more memorable. The scenery was beautiful and the rooms were comfortable and clean. We truly appreciated the warm service and beautiful views and would happily stay here again.

I unfortunately couldnt amend my previous 1 star review from our original stay in October 2020 - I should’ve done this earlier and apologise for the lateness!||The team at spicers contacted me after the review I originally left and instead of the basic and generic response, they attempted to make amends for my original stay and offered me a chance to visit again and see the changes they made. I did return again in April of 2021 and the difference was day and night.||For anyone visiting this space and staying in the vineyard estate house - I have nothing but praise for the team who took care of the home and us. All of the issues I mentioned in my original review were responded to and managed in such an effortless way. ||The rooms were stunningly clean, the grounds were so well kept and honestly it was just everything we had imagined the first stay had been.||I truly want to thank the team (whether they are still on board or have moved on to other ventures) for all they did. I am grateful for the care they showed myself and my guests and simply for the fact that they took the feedback onboard and made the changes that resulted in one of the best stays I’ve ever had. No complaints here - only gratitude. The team on-site and in management made all the difference. ||Thank you all again

Our stay at Spicers Vineyard Estate in the Hunter Valley was truly exceptional! The property is set amidst beautiful vineyards, offering a serene and picturesque atmosphere perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were spacious and elegantly appointed, with every detail considered for comfort and luxury.We dined at éRemo Restaurant, the sister restaurant of Spicers Guesthouse, and it was a culinary delight. Every course was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor—the Binnie Beef Hunter Valley Wagyu was a standout! The accompanying Thomas wine was superb and perfectly paired with the meal.We also enjoyed a morning walk along the valley’s scenic trail and were greeted with the sight of hot air balloons floating over the hills—a mesmerizing experience. The entire stay was seamless, the staff were attentive, and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the Hunter Valley in style!

While visiting the Hunter Valley we stayed here for 3 days and found it very relaxing. The room was very spacious with a very comfy bed, plus we enjoyed the outdoor pool on one day when it was warm enough for a dip. The included breakfast at Restaurant Botanica was exceptional and the waitress was so friendly. Enjoyed our stay and highly recommend as their are plenty of wineries within walking distance to sample a drop or two of Hunter Valley wines.

We had a beautiful stay at this beautiful resort, it accomidated 8 of us plus guest. We loved the big pool wich is what needed in the lovely hot weather and very spacious rooms. And the restaraunt just a.few steps next door was really handy and lovely staff and food there. Overall we give this place a 10 out of 10. Very quiet an out of the way place to stay. Most of the staff were amazing and helpful. The rooms are lovely and spacious. The breakfasts were perfect. If only they had a bar for some afternoon drinks.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and made to feel like valued guests throughout our visit. The staff went above and beyond to help me surprise my wife for her 30th birthday, accommodating every request with care and enthusiasm. Thoughtful touches like rose petals on the bed, a chilled bottle of bubbly, and decadent chocolate-dipped strawberries on arrival set the tone for a magical celebration. They even arranged a breathtaking hot air balloon experience that we’ll remember for years to come. Every member of the team was gracious, attentive, and sincerely kind—creating an atmosphere that felt both luxurious and personal. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and thoroughly pampered. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a romantic escape or hoping to spoil someone special.
