The rooms are quite big The rooms are a bit dated. No micro wave or sink The bed sinks a bit when you sit on them however compfortable On the bright side the Irish pub serves meals they are nice and the outside seating is good. Location is excellent The rooms could use a deep clean and pestercide

Restaurant review only - This is the social restaurant & hotel in Hunter Valley. A lot of outdoor space and a nice place to continue drinks & food. Drinks are decently priced, food was excellent. Pork belly starter was a hero, and chips & gravy were excellent. Gravy was really well made. Book ahead of time especially for large groups!

A great atmosphere welcomes you to the large premises. Gaming to the left Drinks bar in front. Kitchen & dining to the right. Plenty of room for casual drinking & eating. Service friendly & helpful. Last visit here we stayed for 2 nights & were happy with the bedding, bathroom & local views of the vineyards from our terrace. Ample parking. Will be back to stay for sure. One night first stay here. Set in a lovely rural setting in a vineyard, in the middle of wine country. ||Check-in is at Mercure 700m away. Very pleased its a modern motel that doesnt insist on a physical CC, so you can checkin here via a digital wallet. ||Large room which you often find in older properties. Large TV and good aircon. Opens to back courtyard and a yard. ||Comfortable bed, shower is ok, might be an idea to replace fhe $10 Bunnings shower-heads with something a bit better. ||Attached to large pub with restaurant and sports bar, so you’ll never go hungry. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. ||In all I enjoyed my winter night here and will be back.

Review of Harrigan's Hunter Valley We booked and prepaid through Booking.com, expecting a relaxing holiday stay after a 3-hour drive. Unfortunately, this property was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. The exterior of the property looked neglected and in need of proper cleaning and maintenance, with leaves and general untidiness visible. The room had an unpleasant, stale smell that made it feel unclean and uncomfortable. Noise was another major issue. We could clearly hear neighbouring guests without trying the lack of soundproofing made it impossible to relax. This was a terrible way to start what was meant to be a peaceful getaway. We were particularly disappointed that when booking through Booking.com, the property did not appear to take responsibility for the issues raised. We would strongly advise future guests to reconsider before booking ! I wish there was an option of adding photos 🙄

During a recent birthday party, we were met with friendly, professional staff. They could not have been more helpful. Our table seating was rearranged to another table to accommodate 9 of us more comfortably. Venue was packed and busy but nothing was a problem. Short wait on meals. Special mention to Michelle and Danielle. Both made our group feel special. They played a great role in our celebrations, helping with the birthday cake plus joining us at the "blowing out" of the candles. Highly recommended.

Harrigan’s is often very busy, so we highly recommend booking a table in advance. Service can take a little time during peak periods, but the food is quite good and well worth the wait. The staff are very friendly and always happy to help, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. It’s our go-to pub in the Hunter Valley, offering a good variety of dishes with simple yet tasty cuisine.
