Located at 362 Narellan Road, Mount Annan, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 This is such a beautiful place. You could literally spend hours walking around and it’s huge. There is a lovely cafe called The Gardens Cafe which offers a lovely selection of cakes 🍰 and other dishes and a wonderful spot to sit and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee ☕️. This is situated next to the information centre which is where we met our walking tour guides to take us on a very informative walk through the gardens. Our guide was so knowledgeable about the plants 🌱 and their history. The walking tour is run by volunteers and costs us only $15 each. Would definitely recommend. If you don’t want to do the walking tour, the gardens are still worthwhile just wandering around and discovering it yourself. The lakes are so pretty and there’s plenty of places to sit, either directly on the grass or there’s also tables situated around along with BBQ facilities. There’s a children’s playground situated next to the cafe and toilet 🚻 facilities also situated around. The gardens themselves cover a vast area and you can actually drive around on the roads through the park. I would absolutely recommend a visit, I really enjoyed my time there. A big Thumbs up!! 👍👍👍

Amazing gardens that have somehow escaped my attention all these years. Have been the last two Sundays. Not only beautiful garden with Sturt peas and bottle tree plants but very well arranged garden with beautiful surrounds and views from two adjoining tracks. Also guaranteed to see kangaroos

I’ve visited Mount Annan Botanic Garden in both summer and spring, and it’s stunning every time. The landscapes change beautifully with the seasons — lush and green in summer, and full of colorful flowers in spring 🌸🌿. The best part? Entry is free! You can spend hours walking through the gardens, exploring the different sections, and spotting wildlife like kangaroos and birds 🦘🕊️. There are also great picnic areas where you can relax and enjoy the views. Every detail in the garden is so well thought out — from the plants to the open spaces. it’s honestly one of the most beautiful places near Sydney. Perfect for families, photography, or just a peaceful day out in nature.

Beautiful, amazing garden. It was a pleasant visit, the place was very tidy and well kept. I managed to get some good shots of a colourful bird which was a plus. They also have a play area for children.

Very beautiful place especially when the flowers are blooming. Plenty of space, parking and there's a small playground for young kids to go to. There is also a small cafe, lake and plenty of protected species around.

A great place to picnic, walk, cycle and look at plants. We were pleasantly surprised at how much open green space there was for the public to access. The Herbarium and Seed Bank were closed being a Sunday. The Fig Arboretum looked more like a Fig graveyard sadly, whoever decided to plant this type of tree here did not understand the tree or the climate needed for them to thrive.

This botanical garden is awesome for a family picnic or if you love nature, plus it's got tons of greenery and amazing flowers. There are walking trails and event spaces too. It's one of the biggest botanical gardens in Australia, and it's about a 45-minute drive from Parramatta.
